I really don't understand why anyone is making an issue out of this. Rush is a fo0tball enthusiast. That's his only reason for wanting to do this. There's no political agenda here. If it were anyone else, this would not be an issue. That is, unless they were another "right-wing" type like, say, Glenn Beck or Gordon "Freeman" Liddy.

Limbaugh is an entertainer that plays on the feelings of his audience. He's very gifted at that, but nothing more. His visibility in the Republican ranks is identifying the party with its most extreme elements. Until he crawls back into a hole, conservative power will continue to decline. The longer he stays in the forefront and becomes synonymous with conservatism, the better the liberals will fare.
