Play Apple.com Trailer QuickTime Videos in Linux

Thank you for this video. I have been looking for the reason why I couldn't watch Apple Trailers anymore for a while. Now I know, it's not my computer but Apple is SOOO full of themselves.

@metalx1000 I gave up. Apple. Is not like there aren't 4 million trailer websites out there. you know. But thank you so much for making this video. Now all my questions are answered. It wasn't that my computer is not good enough, is Apple has bigger ego than my loyal functional machine can ever match up.

The stupid thing is that you can't even watch mac ads in linux. How are they going to convince linux users to "get a mac" if they can't watch the videos?

@psychoclown420 I'd bet that not being able to play those videos makes more impression on Linux users than the ads themselves. I.e. it means that their system can't do something that others can :D

what apple doesn't realize is that that fuels

the desire to hackintosh. I personally have

a netbook that used to run winders. But

winders crashed and i had to install linux.

I was happy with linux, but the videos that i

couldn't watch made me angry. So, i installed

a hacked version of Mac OS X on my netbook.

That is what i use currently and didn't cost

a penny.

Yeah, Steve Jobs is more dangerous because he's likable (More so then Gates anyway).

It's like the iPhone. It will work in Linux if you jailbreak it. This shows that Linux can work with and iPhone, but it's the Apple company that is adding restrictions.

Don't get me wrong, Apple makes good products. But, they would be better if we could remove the company from the picture.
