What Phil says about painkillers is 100% true. A friend of mine was hurt in a construction accident. He was prescribed Viccodine, which he soon became addicted to. When he couldn't get that anymore, he'd buy what he needed on the street. 18 months later, he graduated to heroin and became addicted to that. All this due to a few broken fingers and ribs. It's a downword spiral. That's all it is, and nothing good ever comes from it. I am happy to say he's now free from addiction,

I think it's awesome that he can share his experience with everyone so that people can benefit, even people who aren't his fans. I'm still crossing my fingers that he and Vinnie can some day reconcile, but an estranged friendship is another type of pain all together. Resentment can't last forever though.

Phil did not kill Dime, inescapable fact. A mentally delusional Nathan Gale suffering from schizophrenia killed Dime, and he was seeking to kill Vinnie Paul as well. Now your going to have people that say Phil said "Dime needs to be beat" during an interview with a heavy metal magazine. Kinda like having an argument with a brother, and hurtful words are exchanged, then one dies in a car wreck before making things right between each other.
