if he's in ex he cannot be in SF4, why? SF4 follows the series of the original SF, and EX is a whole different series, like the alpha series are

alpha is not a differents series, alpha takes place before the very first streetfighter.

the series in order is like this:

alpha

sf1

sf2

sf4

sf3

I just don know where ex is, but it is part of the original series.

I was just pointing out you can't really mix characters from (for example) the EX games into the normal SF games.

oh and you were contradicting yourself in your last comment by saying alpha is not a different series of SF games, but you referred the original SF as ''the original series''  :3

i doubt it. i checked the sf timeline and EX is not there. not to say it doesn't exist, but I'm guessing since Arika developed the EX series, they didn't consider it canon. By the books, it's listed as a spinoff.

Just want to point out that the alpha series took place after sf1 and before sf2. sagat already had the scar in alpha but not in sf1. in sf1, ryu did not know sagat; however, in the alpha series they are already rivals.
