Remaster of Rust In Peace is worse than original, remasters of pre-RIP albums are better though. Remaster of CtE is better as well, while remasters of Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings are worse. Remaster of Risk is worse as well.

Audio quality: Good equalization(which the original has. remaster is bass bloated), good dynamic range(the remaster is compressed and clipped, the original has punch), good production value(the instruments in the original sound real. the remastered drums sound fake).

It's not by chance this original is better. Dave simply is a mediocre mixing/mastering engineer. He should stick to being a musician because that's what he does best.
