  • Hi, I hope it's not too late to ask which pickups you were playing in the K-Line tele?!

  • a little "larry carlton .

  • a little "larry carlton .

  • You single note stuff reminds me a little of Hiram Bullock...very cool.

  • Jack, so tasty! Great tone, too. 5 Stars.

  • Awesome playing! I always check out your reviews when looking for something new. Can you do us all one huge favor though? Can you post the signal chain? Some guitars sound great through one amp, horrible through others. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it! Keep up the GREAT reviews!

  • 1:32 a little Danny channeling crept in there - just great playing - congratulations!

  • Your playing is fantastic and I've been getting a lot of inspiration from your video clips. A lot players tend to sound like three notable players pasted together but you really sound like you! Lastly, don't give creeps like below the satisfaction of a reply. They make a fool out of themselves just fine without help from anyone else.

  • great playing, what delay are you using?

  • Well said.

  • 1:30, i hear the helecasters. Ha ha, nice. you gotta show me that lick. PD

  • Went there. Almost as exciting as a cat woofin' up a fur ball.

  • The real sad part is this guy is GunsAndTels. He post under another name and spams youtube.

  • Isn't the backing track the first song of David Sanborn's Straight to the Heart?

  • What were those arp phrases that started at 1:25? Nice. I recognize it as something Danny Gatton did. By any chance is that sequence in your 'sheets of sound' book, so I can check it out?

  • good sound guitar !!( perfect guitarrist )thanks

  • Great stuff nice licks and tone.

  • Excellent playing as always. That guitar sounds good, and I usually dislike telecasters. Do you have any experience with Carvin?

  • i've owned a couple carvins, including the holdsworth. The holdsworth had a few deadspots and was extremely neck-heavy. This guitar is very balanced. Many teles feel a tad neck heavy but not this one...

  • Thanks, did the Holdsworth have a nice tone, and was it difficult to play on the large neck?

  • it was ok, nothing special. The neck felt awkward and there were dead-spots. I would not recommend it. You'd be better of with any number of semi-hollow guitars in that price range such as eastman

  • There is a place not far from were I live in the city of Rochester that sells Eastman guitars. I think I might check them out. I'm still trying to decide if I want a hollow body, or something different, like a strat. I have an sg now which is very versatile, but since I've started playing jazz, the clean tone has left much to be desired.

  • That was amazing playing! I NEVER listen to entire videos on here, but I listened to this one. Your playing was never boring, really tasteful and creative. I aspire to be that good on guitar. Your style is really engaging and inspiring. thanks!
