  • omg the tank way to small and not even got a filter so the fish if living in its own shit

  • @tazthai1 betta fish don't need filters, they can breathe from the surface. the water does need to be kept super clean for that though.

  • i have tthe red one

  • I have the same blue one :'3

  • good job u have happy healthy betta fish

  • sad u need a way bigger tank men plus u got no filter and Pump :S ?

  • @DennisXbreedingFish They are the ONLY troical fish hat dont need them.

  • they should be in a at least 2.5 gallon heated and filtered tank.

  • @TheAiDaN2110 Umm ya because they live in puddles. Jack ass. I keep mine in a one pint jar and it is doing just fine. Go shove my dick up your peta loving ass you cocksucker

  • Both Bettas do have fin decay/rot that could have been treated. Bettas CAN live individually in 1 gallon tanks (but not the King 'Giant' Bettas-they need a maximum 2.5 before full growth.) Both tanks need atleast an air pump (which can also help circulate water) and they do need temperatures between 72-80 Degrees F. With one gallon tanks, they need a atleast a 90 percent water change every 5 days, MAXIMUM. I research/study/observe and have owned various bettas in their desired habitats.

  • @babybonnie8843 When I rig filters in tanks that small, I get too much current for my fish to handle. Their big fins don't mix well with the current. My fish are happiest when I just do a 50% water change every couple days.

  • where did you get them

  • Ugly tanks :/

  • estan enfermos

  • i have both of those fish the blue one i have is named lorenzo the red one is jr

  • what cloudy water you have!!! do you ever clean your fishs' tank!!! you are a bad betta owner!

    : (

  • @OceanFishLover the water in NOT cloudy -.-

    you MUST be blind...???

  • I think the red one has fin rot

  • this fish need to have the temperature around 26 °!!!!

  • 1 gallontank wont work even for a petstore betta 2.5 gallon is the leist you can use it shud realy b a 5 allonfor any type of betta

  • ugly....got get the short tail bettas....they hella good at fighting and bueatiful

  • Blue one looks a bit lethargic o_O

  • da blue one kinda looks abit skimpy

  • i have the same tank but its a planted tank i have my crowntail betta in a 2.5 and my halfmoon in a 10 gall and me 3 female and 6 guppy fry in a 10 gall

  • @XmariaXmagdalenaX LOL wow you are way too spaced out with your fish. I am keeping four neons and four guppies together in a one gallon minibow and they are doing fine.

  • @Fire23eater Holy fuck, that many fish in a one gallon? I wouldn't keep a single one of those in a tank that small. Seriously, invest the ten dollars in a ten gallon tank and make your fish happy. It'll look better and result in healthier happier fish.

  • Why this have so many dislikes? the tank is small, but the snails should atleast get a little bit of the algae off. if its cause they dont have a divider, he probably does or the betta fish dont rlly notice. also @evilriverside , what was the point of putting that there? i bet a shitload of people on here have bettas that can kill yours in seconds, including mine.

  • @kklove526 i hear a lot of people saying that bettas should be kept in a 10 gallon tank. I can understand that for a more expensive and larger betta but I have 4 pet store bought betta and thats just excessive. Even if I had one of those $30 betta i would go for a 5 gallon not ten. A one gallon tank I feel is sufficient and the bettas are happy, are provided with live plants, and make bubble nests all the time.

sorry for the rant but I agree I dont know why the vid has so many dislikes

  • @OokamiG Small tanks are fine to me. As long as it works, its fine.

  • lol we have the same fish tank

  • um i think your fish IS on duty cause he has to get rid the crap inside him!! lolz

  • i have the same tank. all you haters they can live like that but that doesnt mean that they should but they can. its better than the CUPS they put them in at walmart and pet stores!!!

  • my betta will kill youre bettas

  • I have the SAME tank as yours for my betta

  • TAKE CARE OF YOUR DANG FISH EDIOT!!!!

  • @CaramellCutie101 Learn to spell before insulting another 's intelligence.

  • @MsPixelatedPaint Does it look like i spelled anything wrong in there???? No didn't think so, so you just shut your face and I wasn't even talking to you!!!! Bu-bye

  • @CaramellCutie101 It is spelled "idiot" and not "ediot". Bu-bye.

  • @CaramellCutie101 oooh, He no EDIOT you are the EDIOT... idiot... -_-*

  • Poor fish... both have really bad finnage... Unfortunately, you don't know how to take care of your fish, so their fins are reflecting the poor care.

  • @zharnotczar one is a crowntail the other a veil tail. their fins are reflecting the effects of shipping caused by pet stores and the rough handling of the use of aquarium nets. to maintain healthy fins the use of a net is NOT recommended. these fish can be gently handled and transported by hand which is safe to their fins and scales as they can not snag them on your skin. These bettas are not sick nor starving and are in perfect care. the tank water appears that way because of the lighting.

  • @DomSubmissiveKitteh That isn't net damage. I've seen net damage and dealt with it before. The black rotting look around the destroyed fins is absolutely fin rot. No question about it. Fin rot is caused by bad water quality. The water in this video is bad. I really don't understand why you're defending the quality of care for these fish.

  • @zharnotczar because of people like you who think you know everything just because you own a damn betta. grow the fuck up and get a life instead of going to betta videos and bitching about the care of the fish. its not yours so shut the fuck up.

  • @DomSubmissiveKitteh So you post a reply to my four month old comment, lecturing me on fish care, and subsequently tell me to shut the fuck up? I think it's appropriate to quote you for this one, with a slight change of course. "People like you think you know everything because you own a damn betta. Grow the fuck up and get a life instead of going to betta videos and bitching about the comments about fish. It's not yours so grow the fuck up."

  • @zharnotczar then let me clarify and quote you as well,"I really don't understand why you're defending the quality of care for these fish." because its not YOUR fish, not YOUR problem and YOUR opinion is just that YOUR opinion. if you people really want to bitch about the care of bettas do it in a damn video! other then that shut the fuck up you whiney ass little bitches.

  • @DomSubmissiveKitteh By your logic, you should make a video for yelling at me.

Your logic is... illogical, though. The comments section is a place to comment on the video. I was doing just that. Youtube is a place where you show off your videos to random people on the internet. When you post a video on youtube, you're making it other people's business. This isn't a video storage website, it's a video sharing site.

Plain and simple, you're getting mad over nothing.

  • whats the type of tank they are in please

  • LMAO the orange one is shy? lmao wtf

  • get bigger tanks u bum

  • Very pretty and nice set ups :) they should have at least 1 gallon of space - at least you had them housed properly unlike many of these idiots I have seen on here posting fighting vids. I just got a Black Orchid Imperial Crowntail he is gorgeous :)

  • @Rainlilys Ithought that bettas should have a 2 gallon

  • @joushpop as a general rule it is 1 gallon however crowntails and others with large tail fins may be happier in more than 1 gallon. My Black Orchid Imperial Crowntail is in a 5 gal with a cory catfish and I am waiting on African Dwarf Frogs to come in locally to add one of them. My tank will be complete then :) One day I may look into breeding him he is a beauty!!

  • were do yahh guys get ur decor i live in tx

  • i have the same fish decoration! lol

  • I have the same 1 gallon fish tank for my beat fish and i was wondering why you aren't using the bubble filter pump that came with it?

  • lol imagination movers in da backround

  • wow they look sad put 4 females in a 10 gallon tank

  • the blue one looks bored...

  • EvilLayla101 it (well some of the information) depends on size, what I know is that its 1in. Per gallon, the rest can be attitude, eating, resting etc. habits... :)

  • bloods and crips?

  • why the fuck would you trick me this?

  • I put mine in water bottles filled with water by half. And they're fine.

  • @tangmannaikit you shouldnt do that.. your an idiot!

  • @Chihuahualalaland Who are you calling me an idiot? I'm a Thai breeder and this is how we been doing for hundreds of years. Now what, genius? :)

  • @tangmannaikit how would you like to be in a place your whole life where you couldnt even stretch your legs?!?!

  • @Chihuahualalaland trollololololololo

  • @Chihuahualalaland how would you do it if you're raising thousands of bettas?!?!?

Get each of them a nice volcano tank?!?! If I have that kinda money wouldnt it be easier to own a jewelry shop?Believe me I've seen a lot worse from other breeders.

  • You should NOT keep a betta in a 1 gallon tank! 5 Gallons PER Betta

  • @EvilLayla101 lol i keep mine in a little fish bowl. problem?

  • I think that your blue is actually a veiltale betta. Not halfmoon. if you paid halfmoon price, you paid too much.

  • I have the same tanks by hawkeye and they do a lot better if u have the under gravel filters in there it keeps the water cleaner serculated and ads oxygen to the water

  • These tanks look perfect! Bettas do not need 5 gallons to thrive they simply need 1 or 2! These look fantastic!

  • i thought the yellow statue was actually a fish:')

  • Is the purple one dead?

  • I would suggest five gallons each. I'm not saying you have to, but they would be much better. It's also good to have a lot of hiding places, or a lot of live plants to sim through, because beta can get bored and will be less energetic than usual.

  • i used to have those signs.. but mine said no fishing! :)

  • The blue betta looks so sad :( 5 Gallon each, heater, filter, plants.

  • listen get them a hiding spot im sure the would appreciate it

  • Tired of people saying "give them more space your jerk!", gosh just look at them, they are happy and fine :)!

  • omg i thought the yellow fish was real at first! in the blue ones tank

  • they have fin rot if you havent noticed

  • @soawsomestuff thats not fin rot.

  • @soawsomestuff Theyre crowntails Theyre fins are supposed to be like that. :D

  • @happy2k1 The red is a crowntail, yes, but the blue is a ragged veil tail. Looks like he's been biting himself.

  • where u get them by the way

  • there happy in a 1 gallon tank

  • "no swimming" - haha, i think your betta are breaking the law XD

  • @typalexandra Not really the blue got speeding tickets you can see in the vid he just floats :)

  • @TriskaidekaPunk - haha XD you can try to give them a pair of plastic plants. The will appriciate it =)

i have my betta fish in a big petbox of 14 litres, and inthere he has only real plants, and he loves it =D

  • @typalexandra no plastic plants are not a good idea, they will tear their fins on them!

  • @mybackpocket - yeah, you have right, but i ment another kind of plants. i use plastic plants that are made of fabric kinda :P dont know what they are called. they are softer and looks more realistic than plastic plants.

  • the blue fish is depressed. Not moving fins barely moving fast as they should. Ive found out why! These little plastic 1 gallon tanks are useless and these fish are found in thailand and its pretty humid over there. Therefore they are tropical fish witch means you need to buy glass cos a heater will melt your plastic tank since you need your heater/s on ALL the time.

  • @CostsUp i think the blue one is following the sign

  • @thePapermaster1234 I tihnk your right!

  • Wat did ur daughtr do try and kill them?

  • give them more space ... please!

  • @RaffleReefer10

to you gallon tanks are perfect..it's anything less that's a problem

and to the owner clean their water they are a little dirty

  • Comment removed

  • I sent that tank back and payed $ 5 more and got the 2.5gal by aqueon at petsmart and a heater for $20 and my betta loves his tank like 10times more then thoughs 2 fish look like they do, BUT! the tanks you got them in are better the the stupid cups most people put them in, so u get points for that

  • Wheres the filter and the aeration, the water is very cloudy, I am new to tropical fish keeping, but even a novice can see this is a wrong set up. Sorrry.

  • good that u didnt put them together!

  • weres thefilters

  • I have the same tank!!!

  • I know this video is old, Makes cleaning the tank alot easier.

  • I have the same tank. You need to put the filter it came with inside it. It's really good and easy to set up. I'll even help you if you need it. Just message me.

You might want to put a plant or a hiding place in there. ;)

    Beautiful fish though. :)

  • your tanks need to be really clean at all times. the more filth they have to swim in the more chance they will develop sickness. Plus, 1 betta fish needs about 5+ gallons to swim in. and enough vegitation and gravel to hide. Anything less then this is ANIMAL CRUELTY. Just cause a pet store has a fish bowl or small tank. this does not mean that you should put a betta fish in it.

  • @hith0503 actually 1.5 gallons and weekly water changes is fine as long as there is a heater and room for silk plants and a hide your fish will be happy and healthy.

  • from what I've been told the ideal volume for a Betta is at least 2.5. I don't own any though its just what people have said.

  • Oh look a snail...

  • @mrbobbyblue52 he puts them in small tanks becuase if you put them in bigger tanks by themselfs with all the space they could get stressed out thats why.

  • you can sell live fish on craigslist?

  • @ParalizedWithTaco how do you know if your betta is vt or a hm

  • @101hermitcrab veil tail stretches down , kinda long and lanky , but a hm's one is like a fan

  • :l

    Me encanta tu crown C:

    Y por cierto..

No se ve nadita natural :/

  • i think one of your betta fish have fin rot

  • the blue betta dont look healthy....:-/

  • The purple one is clearly not a halfmoon it´s a Vailtale.

  • good size tanks!!!!!! i have a 2.5 mini bow tank for my betta

  • How was she bugging them, haha?

  • check out my new fishyy! i made a video on him!

  • i have a little sign just like yours except it says "no fishing!' and the same tank and same red fish!!! isn't that weird!

  • saya pun ada

  • i have this same tank i bought from walmart for $10, and im going to get a betta tommorrow, so im not sure if i should use that undergravel filter and the airstone, i might not, i see you dont have it in yours
