I'm a newcomer to DC comics, but not DC universe as a whole. I know a little bit about the characters here and there. I heard about the new 52 and decided to hop on. I bought the #1's of Mr. Terrific, Batman and Robin, Batman, Aquaman, Nightwing, Batwing, and Justice League. Any other issues anybody recommend for a newcomer?

the only thing that disappoints me about the new 52 is that i wish that dc would give the old guys a rest for a couple of years and focus on the newer heroes. i love bruce clark and diana but i want dc to focus more on terry mcginnis (batman) static shock and the zeta project for example...

@theoriginalmquan batman beyond(the bit of story where terry is batman) happens about 50 years after where the current comics are now , sure they could do a comic and that too(the same way that we have superman and action comics (with a younger superman))

all the original new 52 books come out once a month. Nothing is bi-weekly or monthly yet. They are all on a pretty set schedule.
