THere is no real trick to this deck other than he glances at the cards as he shuffles them to locate its position. From then on in, it is all just pure skill.

well if you hold the deck in profile like that in a tight grip you could bend the living hell out of the corners and you wouldnt see it not saying that is how andy does it but it is one way of doing it ................. providing you can bend the cards back before someone notices ;p

I know how this is done (after reading an account by Scarne himself). According to Scarne, if you practice 3-4 hours a day, you can do this in 20 years. He said this at age 19. When queried about this, he said that he practiced 10 hours a day.

This is the first post I have made, but I have a guess. The deck may not be gimmicked, however I believe something was used, such as salt, for example, to keep the cards separated or lose enough that when you make your cut the aces fall apart from the rest of the deck.
