I'm pretty sure this one was filmed entirely with a Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, and no, there was no polarizing filter. It doesn't seem to have any problems pulling out the blue hue, and the sun doesn't seem to be an issue with this lens at all. I have a few others though that I use a polarizer on...

Good question. This video isn't exactly a podcast by the strict definition because it's not downloadable, but a Podcast is a media segment (either video or audio) that can be automatically downloaded via a subscription method (like using iTunes or Zune or something). This is just the pilot to see how popular it is, and see where I can go from here.

How did you find focusing on the fly?

kanadianiceman, I was shooting most of it on a 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, with the ISO set to 100, so the depth of field was really deep, and not difficult to keep the subject in focus. The LCD on the 5D Mark II is really huge and bright though, so you can watch it pretty closely. It would be really difficult to do manual focus stuff while riding, but while shooting video, if it's mounted to a tripod, it's really really easy. It would be a lot harder to do moving shots with a priime lens though...
