This goes back 9 months, to June 2007. Sometimes, in order to minimise suffering to a wild creature, it is better to end its life. These dolphins were not able to swim or feed properly, and would have died soon anyway - an agonising death of starvation.

Sad video! Did they manage to save the dolphin? It's a mystery why dolphins and whales sometimes beach themselves.
