How does he want to power the fleet of electric cars that he touts, or anything else that runs on electricity?

With windmills and solar panels? That is ludicrious.

Fact is, the more of the fancy electric stuff society uses, the more coal it needs to burn, because that the where the bulk of the electricity comes from, and will for a long time.
