  • 100 troops dying a month seems like a small number to me..

  • Millions of Muslims die every day , and that makes no sense to usa Communities ?

  • I know how we get out of afghanistan and Iraq real quick, send out pamphlets to everybody bout there shrine supposedly it can stop war and things and it is were muhammad is buried well tell everybody on that pamphlet that if another innocent person dies were bombing your statue lol.

  • Iraq's health and educational systems are shattered. According to Unicef, 40 per cent of Iraqi children have no access to clean drinking water and more than two million primary school children do not go to school. Today whole areas of Iraq are saturated with radiation and dioxins (DU) weapons used by the Anglo-American coalition doctors reported last November an "unprecedented and at present unexplainable" rise in deformed births, including babies with two heads.

  • they say that... but even now they are sending more soldiers :(

  • don't worry about the dead soldiers,

our creator will give them what they deserve & they will be shown their resting place.... Ameeeeeen

  • Republicans could care less how many soldiers die, they never served anyway, so what would they care anyway?

  • Kucinich is the only real leader on this stage...besides Gravel

  • This is all empty promises and theatre show, people are not suppose to have a choice, only think they have.

And it is the way it is because of medias psychological warfare on our minds to create insecurity within us so that we can look up to the government. And that is whats wrong, because it's the people that are suppose to govern the government, not the government governing the people!

Vote for a real candidate that supports such message! Vote for Ron Paul!

  • The war is meant to be maintained.

  • ya i like how democratics agreed on sending troops to Iraq after 9/11 and now they blame Bush for sending troops there to get killed. pathetic

  • Dennis is the only one who answers "yes" or "no", and then elaborates. The rest of these people (with the exception of Gravel) just tap-dance around the question like Danny fucking Kaye... How can people support these hacks?

  • Because the truth hurts. I think it's a damn shame Kucinich is not the frontrunner

  • Nice Job answering the question Hildog *sarcastically*

    I largely dislike her

  • Kucinich was the only one that answered straight

  • I can't believe I supported Hillary. And I agree, Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are the best we have!

  • Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich would be the best ticket. both of these men have real integrity. They could balance eachothers negatives and be elected over Hillary. They could heal are democracy and get "special interests" out of washington and I think Ron Paul will ultimately value democracy over "liberty".

    Kucinich/Paul Unity 08

  • You dems should honestly check out Ron Paul. He's basically a democrat on the GOP side and is taking heat for it from the other retard republicans... he has everything to offer that Kucinich says but with a lot better shot at winning his respective party.

I promise you, as an American, that this man is the real deal. Just take 10 mins to check him out.

  • No...he's drastically conservative.

We agree on some issues, and greatly disagree on others.

  • He's drastically an older conservative. Use that term wisely. It doesn't mean anymore what it means today.

  • I have checked him out, as have many others here no doubt. And what I was able to find out is that he IS NOT basically a Democrat, he is very very conservative, and although he has some great points on many things, he differs from a Democrat in many ways. The drastic changes he proposes to our govt. would not be easily accepted by our country. I am a Republican, but I support Dennis Kucinich, but because I do not intend to officially switch my party, I will probably vote Ron Paul in the primary

  • that guy after hilary is uglaaaay!

    he will never be president

  • He isn't the stereotypical president, but like he says, you can have someone that is right, or you can have someone that is tall...

  • He's not really a democrat, but not really republican. He's a libertarian, but claims to be republican -- and I can understand why. Look at a list of presidents - none have been elected unless they were a member of a major party. The only parties ever elected to president: federalist, democrat, whig (anti-democrat), republican.

  • @lreeey I checked him. He is awesome. He better win 2012.

  • @lreeey ron paul is a true liberal yes but soooo far from a democrat. all he had in common with them during 2008 was they all were saying they wanted to end the wars. However, he was the only one who meant it. As obama has shown us.

  • @lreeey

    He's Libertarian

  • back in WWII america thought that 400,000 american lives was worth the sacrifice against communism... & i believe this war against islamic radicals is worth the same sacrifice. we didn't go in this war with all our resources, so the govt surely isn't in this war to win it. bush told us to live our lives normally & not worry about these terrorist, hmm a little bit of deja vu, because that's what they told the nation to do during veitnam. tsk tsk.

  • PS: this war on with terrorism didn't start 9/11 it started in the 1970s when jimmy carter let 50 american lives be captured and held captive by terrorists. we should have sacrifice those 50 lives & called them heros so the 5000 that died on 9/11 didn't have to be.

  • About 3000 died on 9/11, not 5,000. Further, the war on terror is a joke, a move to achieve political goals. You cannot win a war on terror by killing thousands upon thousands of muslims and arabs, our killing of them, especially innocent civilians, is a major recruiting tool and their biggest motivation for their murderous actions... The more we kill, the more they want to kill us first, the more they kill, the more we want to kill them first, at what point does anyone win?

  • I'm sorry but that's just supid.

  • what is stupid?

Does our killing of arabs and muslims cause them to hate us more?

If they hate us more, do they have more motivation to join Al Qaeda and get revenge?

If we stop attacking sovereign nations not linked to Al Qaeda, won't that help to keep recruitment down in Al Qaeda? We can attack training camps, we can attack other Al Qaeda meeting places etc, without KILLING tens or hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and encouraging recruitment of Al Qaeda.

  • Is is truly stupid to believe that our actions influence their actions? So many people believe that our foreign intervention and the deaths we cause will deter Al Qaeda, but the main motivations they THEMSELVES GAVE for 9/11 was American intervention, deaths we cause, and support for Israel. So do we continue what got us attacked in the first place, or do we avoid the kinds of behavior that motivate the terrorists?

  • the problem with a war on idealogy is that you can't win, when you kill someone for their beliefs your martyr them, if you kill them for their heinous actions, you send them to historical infamy. if you want to win against the idealogy of "islamofacism" you have to do it through peace, trade, and travel.

  • well said...

  • i wish everyone knew this...

    i agree, well said

  • and hell yes to kuccinich. i don't know why americans fail to realize that alloting funds is a fundamental check and balance built into our system. if the democrats don't fund the war, that's not failing to support the troops, that's a leadership decision about the war. when the money runs out, we'll come home. people spin it as if it'd be taking the guns out of our hands, which is BS

  • The main problem with the candidates here is that most of them are afraid to offend someone that they want money from, or they are afraid that they will say something that can be used against them later...Most of them don't actually believe what they are saying, they are just saying it for political reasons, if the Democrats were behind the war, nearly all of these candidates would be in favor of it, Kucinich would believe what he says regardless of the party's position. He is a great American.

  • what annoys me most is no one ever seems to call them on it

  • true...what annoys me even more though is knowing that most likely one of these candidates that believes in nothing will be in the white house soon...Whether Hillary, Giuliani, Romney, Edwards, who knows... I will say that I think Barack Obama is better than either Edwards or Clinton, but he still is no Kucinich...Gravel may be a bright guy, but he is too emotional and not well spoken or mannered. Richardson isn't presidential in any way, Biden might be alright...

  • hey how would you feel about a Kucinich/Paul or Paul/Kucinich ticket? I think they could be elected if Hillary takes the nomination

  • 1,276, I guess.

  • Kucinich is a only smart and honest man up there.

    Kucinich for President!!!

  • I have to say I like alot of Kucinich's arguements. Now I am Canadian and don't really have a say but whenever I hear about a president against North American Union and against Nafta, I am all for that. So it does affect me too.

Anyway, My issue with Kucinich is that he seems to be saying whatever the majority of voters want to hear. It all seems so fanciful, trying to make everyone happy. I would be surprised to see him go through with everything he says he will.

  • then you would probably like Ron Paul, since he has all those good Kucinich qualities, without that "pandering to public opinion polls" air about him. "consistent, principled integrity"

  • he's not saying what the public wants to hear. he's saying what he actually wants done. kucinich is an honest politician-a big difference from the sidestepping answers everyone else gives. he believes in strength through peace and immediate action. the reason why it sounds like he's trying to make everyone happy is because if he does everything he says, everyone WILL be happy. and i believe he can do it. he's a very experience politician and he's truthful and honest.

  • Yeah, kill a million iraqis and talk about taking money away from their troops. Just because you sent a letter to the pentagon doesn't mean you're fighting the pentagon. VOTE KUCINICH! He's the only one with the guts for non-for profit health care, and peace.

and mr. dodd, the first responsibility is the Constitution of the United States. Impeach!

  • Check our Ron Paul's position on the war and many other important issues facing our nation. He is one of the very few remaining leaders with integrity and dedication to the people. He is running on the Republican side.

  • Kucinich is the only one who answered the question. Disappointing.

  • Of course! Hillary's always talking nonsense! She has no substance, not even in her beloved health care policy! She doesn't even plan to end the war-she's gonna keep fighting al queda in iraq. We need to get out! She's gonna leave our troops there and all she does is blame the iraqis when its our fault. And why on earth would she take money away from the iraqis? We need reparation 4 them!

  • Exactly... I've had a gut feeling from the start, that the US would make a mistake in voting her president. It's in her demenor... It feels fake...

  • Who agrees with me. It seems like Hilary is just talking nonsense until it's time and then raises her voice and says something just to get claps.

  • anderson pooper is a jackass!!

  • What Kucinich was in the middle of saying as he was so rudely cut off by the CNN spin machine pawn is an important, simple action we can all take to unite our voices for peace. No matter which candidate you support, you can TEXT PEACE! Text 73223 to end the war and achieve peace.

  • Vote Kucinich 2008!

  • Dennis you have my VOTE until you WIN! I am a woman I will not vote for Hiliary she is not Bill, her thinking is not in line with the people she VOTED for this WAR!!!!!!!!!!Dennis is RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! PEACE NOT WAR!!!!!!!

  • Troops out NOW! Peace NOW! OMG, girl, if you had a child now would I hear such dizzying spin? Thank you for being so honest, Kucinich. It isn't our business to tell another country how to run themselves, especially when we can't get our crap together.

  • can't hear anything

  • dennis kucinich gave the only good answer, I was not satisfied at all with the other democrats answer. this war is lost, let's get out now!

  • Yeah, what a load of crap. Seriously, everyone watch the clock when the candidates are speaking. Clinton gets 1 full minute to speak. Kucinich then gets cut off at 30 seconds!! And then Dodd gets 1 full minute as Clinton did! How incredibly ridiculous. Why the censorship?

  • how unfair can you get?!?! Every one got one minute to respond and Kucinich was cut off after 30 seconds. what a load of crap. the only real

anti war canidate!! GO GO Kucinich!!

  • Vote Mike Gravel or Ron Paul in 2008 for America's future and Freedom!

  • wow, the only one that truly listened to that lady's question and actually ANSWERED it was Dennis Kucinich!! straight talk from a politician?!? he's got my vote!!

  • what world is thius guy living in! Bring troops back in 6 months!and then what after we live terrorist would take over the iraq and then what! hillary for once tell the truth, you vote yes to go to iraq and no you against it, at least bush stands up for what he bielives, and obama oh god he is going to talk directly to axis of evils he is naive. all democtras in this panel have no idea to fight terrorism and that is really scary.

  • Dennis Kucinich will get us out of Iraq. He consistently voted against this war.

  • 911 + Iraq + Katrina = Bush's fault

  • 1000-1500 soldiers will die before we pull out. Think about it, why are we in Iraq? Why? Even a better question, why not put all our focus in Afghanistan where the Al queda is? Now America is stuck in a situation where, if we pull out it's going to be a pool for terrorist and Iran or Russia could just stomp right in and annex Iraq. President Bush and the nation fucked up when we went in, PERIOD!

  • At least another 1000-1500 additional american soldiers will need to die while we wait for Bush to finish his term and then eventually begin the pullout.

  • Kucinich answered the question. Its quite obvious that the others danced around it. People are really sick of evasion tactics.

  • Endless War = Endless War Profits! The soldiers will continue to die as long as Halliburton profits are up.

  • Ron Paul 2008...look him up....U will not be disapointed.

  • I have a little brother who swears when he doesn't know what the hell is going on in a conversation. You sound like him.

  • hilary clintons pretty HOT man wat she look like in her 20's

  • Well we stoped them from forming a goverment when they had momentum, we disbanned ex-military people from Sadams army when they volenteered. All of the officals, scholars, leaders, teachers and people with money have been killed or left Iraq. It will be 50 years untill the new generation comes before the people of Iraq realize that they cant keep living like this anymore.

  • And its our countrys falt!

  • haha he said said niggers.... ha houuh.... idiot.

  • troops are even worse than terrorists!

  • troops = terrorists!

  • u r a terrorist

  • Mandate? This bloat has been eating the Kool Aid, with a shovel. I thought the "mandate" was about ridding the Congress of stealth queers. I guess I missed that referendum on the war.

  • well americans are the best in the world so they can stay out in iraq for a bit longer.

  • blahblahdodgequestionblahblahtakenoresponsibilityblahblah

  • You can't mess up a country and just leave because things have gotten tough. It's extremely irresponsible. America should take responsibility and get things right in Iraq, whatever it takes.

  • ...if we have to kill off every one of America's enlisted men and women to do it! grrr

  • Gooo Clinton, leave Iraq alone and send them back, lives are more important than economics and money :|

  • Clinton is a moron

she said "When we send a soldier or marine"

a marine is a soldier you stupid bitch

  • MYbamboozle dotCOM for DayTraders and Investors alike. There are lots of scammers out there people, but at MYBAMBOOZLE we come together and rather than pumping stocks mindlessly, we show you what to look out for in the Stock World. MYBAMBOOZLE dotCOM if you are a serious trader or even an inexperienced one!

  • yeah, but it isn't worthy to send them to die for oil.

  • Soldiers die! They know this when they enlist. Somethings are worth dying for.

  • How many more soldiers need to die? Well, if we allow these elites to keep playing their game then hundreds, thousands, and millions will die for a lie.

  • Iraq is minor to a NUCLEAR IRAN.

  • Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards are all CFR(Council on Foreign Relations)! Don't believe me?!?! Google: "Creating a North American Community" The CFR is a think tank for the North American Union!! Wake up people and don't vote for anyone that is a member! Republicans too!

  • common..those bastards are all lying{democrats)..goverment is earing money while we are in war folks..face the truth. REPUBLICANS for life!

  • first, we need to get rid of the parties

  • Impeachment is not going to happen.

  • hilary's the only one wearing pink :]

  • Respectfully, this mom is not thinking, but reacting emotionally. There was no "mandate" in the election. If there was, the Democrats would be flocking to get us out of Iraq. They are never guided by principle, only politics. We are in Iraq now for one reason - to kill terrorists. We have killed or captured 60,000 already. It is, as the terrorists themselves have said, the front in the war of terror. They cannot allow us to be successful there. In fact, they and the Democrats have the same goal.

  • To kill terrorist? Excuse me, but the only terrorist I see in Iraq are Americans.

  • That's because you are delusional. Even the terrorists are telling us they are fighting us in Iraq.

  • Is it just me, or is Kucinich the only one answering the questions without caveats and excuses (ie honestly)? I guess that is mainly due to the fact that he has little chance of being elected, therefore he can speak his mind without worrying about blowback (look it up Rudy). The more I watch, the more I like that little gnome lookin mofo.

  • He is the best, always has been. Check out his past, it is phenomenal. I wish we had two rounds of votes so I could vote for him instead of compromising so Clinton won't get the nomination.

  • Woot! kucinich

  • What type of an american resorts to calling a mother of a soldier serving our country a cow? Its to bad you don't have to take a maturity test to post responses.

  • Unfortunatly the womans ignorance in thinking that electing Democrats would end the War in Iraq has made her a target for the immature who can't form a concious thought without demoralizing someone.

  • He volunteered you COW, THANK YOU President Bush for keeping us safe since 9-11. Republican "spin" machine what did this COW think her sons were just going to join the army and just play army

  • Aside from the COW comment, Most American PATRIOTS who choose to join the Armed Services, do so to defend ones country from invasion from a foreign power. Not right the wrongs of a tyranical government in a country thousands of miles from home. If you belive the war in Iraq is anything more than an opportunity for private american and british contractors to make a crap load of money. your sadley mistaken.

  • I bet you also have aluminim foil on your ceiling right ? You nuts always think its just about $ how soon u forget 9-11

  • that's Funny i was thinking the same thing about you, i pictured you with a photo of Bush outside you mobile Home in an Arkansas Trailer Park, suckin on your favorite Pabst thinking all is weel in Congress with a 14% approval in congress and a 28% approval rating of the President I don't think I'm wrong in my assesment of Iraq. Have you ever heard of Haliburton?? who was the former CEO?? and why do they have a majority of the contracts in rebuilding Iraq??? Do the math! the Facts are the Facts!

  • you sheep would believe its a 2% rating if the liberal medai told you so. Go back to your monster truck pulls your unions and buffet restaurants and smack your wives a few times and remember we call you peons and you call us Boss and Sir

  • First of all, never call me anything as disgusting as a Liberal. I'm a registered Independent since I registered w/ selective service. We independants laugh at you conservatives and liberals, we use common sense and factual information gather from both media sources (LIBERAL AND CONSERVATIVE) alike then form intelligent thoughts ALL ON OUR OWN!!! (Can you concieve that) And WE do it without the aide of any government official.

  • You have no idea what liberals and conservatives are. anyone who says theyre not liberal are saying that they dont want idividual freedom, or in other words they want a totaliterian state. If ur conservative that just means you like traditional values, like "house wifes".

  • Hello is this thing on?? Did you not read that I am an Independant. The party of our founding fathers. the party of true idividualism and common sense thought. I know the GOP and Democrats have you brainwashed into thinking there are only two parties in this great nation of ours and that only they have the solutions to our problems. But you need to really wake up and study American history read what the Independant Party is about then comment back.

  • I bet that's not the only "spin machine" that pig is familiar with. She probably has a perpetually running cotton candy machine next to her nightstand.

  • Why do I laugh at your crude comments.

  • way to go buddy

  • Gah!! I'm so tired of Hilary, any time she responds its just "yak yak yak" -all political double speak and skirting around the real question.

  • Hillary needs Repubs, and they need her, otherwise they might have to answer questions.

  • Clinton is the worst! She can't ever answer anything straight!

  • Her son must must really be ashamed of his obese mother. She looked like ten pounds of shit in a two pound bag.

  • What and your mom is a fox, don't be an asshole.

  • She looks like three hundreds pounds of chewed bubblegum. Maybe if she hadn't have eaten her way through her kid's college fund, he wouldn't have had to VOLUNTEERED.

  • You are a stupid prick. Pay attention to what she is saying rather than having some panic attack over her weight.

  • Sorry, I simply can't get past her hideous obesity. It's distracting. How can a person do that to themselves? It's like she has zero respect for anything, especially herself. It's no wonder she's so bitter and pathetic. Sad, really.

  • Damn you don't even know her, here's your thinking you see a fat chick and you think Rosie, fat obnoxious Rosie.

  • I've seen morbidly obese shut-ins like this before on TV. The woman is wearing a dickie cut from a black hefty bag. She's angry because she can't send her son to the Hostess discounter on a daily basis.

  • Great response Kucinich! These other candidates didn't stand up for what was right when they had the opportunity. They also keep voting for funding for the war while posing to be against the war. Obama, Edwards, and Hilary do not have perfect records here.

  • Kucinich wins. I would have liked to have heard Gravel on this too.

  • Democrats may have taken over congress.... but can we look at reality here? it takes TIME people! the government needs to learn to work together. without half of the government's support... no things aren't going ot happen easily. the Dems are fighting against their own government to try to fix it. but they need the Reps to cooperate just a LITTLE

  • take over in 6 months?usa have responsability in this war,we can't just pull over and let the situation how it is,we provoqued a civil war and we have to take responsability for it,we can't just pull over

  • she did answer in a political way,she just said that the power was in presidential hands but i disagree,is she saying that the congress have no power on iraq situation?

  • Clinton did not answer the question...Kucinich is being honest...Dodd does a good jig...Richardson makes a good dance partner...

  • The democrates do not have enough of a vote to send a powerful message to the president. Democrates can not get bills through the senate. They need more votes and that is the fact.
