  • sebastian probably works at pizza hut as a delivery man now.

  • he had a great moment of clarity

  • he said that he got 1 in a million chance and be a fool not to accept it..i was like he was a fool to begin with.

  • The fact that a supposed "chef" refers to himself as a cook tells the whole story.

  • really? is sebastian closed?

  • @cenni89999 Yes it's closed. Sebastian is a complete moron, or a very good actor. Either way .

  • @Timerider

The problem is in fact that you take offense to slang. My question is why? Why is slang offensive? Im a history teacher myself and I personally think slang is a lot more legitimate then anything ''official''. Its the real language of the people. Everything came from slang to begin with, slangs that were not only specific to a region but to a town, all mixed together. This ridiculous obsession with the status-quo and the ''official'' way to speak is a thing of the 20th century.

  • @Ervtard I dont know what Timerider said but coming as first year anthro student in university I can tell u that the first thing we learned in linguistics is that every word is completely arbitrary. as in made up accordingly to culture. theres nothing concrete about slang words that make them offensive.it all has to do with culture and what rules we make up for the acceptable way of speaking.

  • sebastians is now closed. what a dickhead. i would feel sympathy for the guy if he would just realize and accept ramsays help fully.

    idiot.

  • crybaby-

  • fuk me! Ramsey should have shown up day 1 and slapped the dooche bag! As usual an ego tripper in need of a good SHUT THE FUCK UP and change!!!!

  • @8GRUM8 but its fake dude just drama to get views :)

  • Yeh true just a bad actor

  • Can you say Bi-polar any louder.

  • why there are partly pictures from old decor and new decor??

  • fuck this i cant watch part 2 and 4 bollocks

  • as far as any restaurant owner who is sinking is concerned, to have chef gordon ramsay step into your kitchen and direct you towards as to what he thinks is success is just totally ludicrus not to accept his advice, ramsays record speaks for itself, nothing more to say

  • What a fuckin freak. Never seen such an ungrateful little bitch, like Sebastian

  • @VituMies yeah, but he was later suspased by mr. french of the secreat garden in an later episode.

  • Lmfao, sebastian what a little pussy he is, honestly, he fuckin relizes that he fucked up right before shit got real I wanna punch that little choade in the goddamn face, by the way sure hope to see what he's like in a year

  • What effen tool!!! I dont feel a bit sorry for him....his wife, kids, and staff yes but he derserved to have his place shut down. Hey Sebastian anyone can heat up frozen food that doesnt make you a chef. WUT Ali is a MODEL. dont quit your day job darling. She isnt ugly by no means but a model.

  • he wants his stupid unique 20 combination menu because when he makes his "franchises", he'll be known for it or something. this guy is delusional, but when i saw him crying and realizing the truth, i felt bad for him again... WTF!!!@!@!@!@~~!

  • a ground beef, tuna, pineapple, egg pizza. yum yum yum unique.

  • what is the point of having 12783947973 pizzas combinatios if you cant do one well and 99.99% of people order a combination of 3 or 4 flavors....

he is a "Unique" asshole to me

  • That black chef was hot

  • It's a tragedy, Sebastion doesn't have the strenght to take help or advice form anybody, which we all need to do at times, he'll stick to his ways and never grows. Wnat's to be recognized, loved, and in the meantime forgets to be himself, making him impossible to love. But there is still time to grow Sebastian! You´re a nice guy underneath, I know you are.

  • You're one of the most benevolent people on YouTube by saying that.

  • whenever I feel bad about things I always remember, Im nowhere near as messed up as this dude Sebastian

  • Sabastian if you read this message, I think it must feel like some one pulled the rug from under you, with the new menu because all your creation and ideas are gone but you're doing the right thing by taking Chef Ramsy's aproach. Most of us have ideas that we think is great but a least you had the chance to put yours to the test. Failure is a good thing, with out it how would we know what works.

  • His placed is closed down and he moved back to NY about 5months later. Most likely because he went back to his retarded menu. I mean if he'd do it right in the middle of service with Gordon there no dout in my mind he switched back to it 100% the very second Gordon left for good.

He's an idiot. A true idiot.

  • this fool is actually married who would marry this sad sack of shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • yuk at 1:42

  • alooooot of cheese . this explaines alot why people in western society are fat.

    less is more.

    chef jonas

  • Psychobabble!

Less is Less. More is More.

Where do you people come up with this bull shit?

  • hihi

  • you could understand what is going on in"less is more" but you ..don't want to? ok, I'm proud to explain you :D:

Sometimes in your life you want that something be better, more atracctiv, more liked by peoples, and you try and try and start to multiplate and comlicate things in that time Gordon comes and say " Less is More ". and....he's RIGHT, cause al this will be more atracctiv, more etc if you try less where you think you need try more. :D you understand now?:)

  • Thanks for the attempt to explain to me

dorotttta, especially considering that English does not appear to be your first language. I understood what was meant by "less is more" I simply object to the fact that we as humans continually try to make our language more flowery, descriptive, and colorful.

Many phrases we use just don't make much sense.

For example folks will often say "I'm going to run to the store." Then they in fact "drive".. I would just be pleased if folks would speak simply.

  • I don't know about other sentence but this one help me in moments, when I try to hard

  • @Timerider You're talking shit.

    That simple enough for you?

You're only fit to judge English-speakers, not any of the countless other peoples and their languages.

The fact that you've taken issue with such a widely used phrase, with such a clearly defined meaning, would indicate that you're a moron.

  • @BIuejay I took issue with the misuse of language. I did not bother Doretta about the way she wrote her message she clearly speaks more then one language I am very impressed with her replies. I simply pointed out that she had misunderstood my post. I did not have any trouble understanding the phrase "less is more" I said I do not like it as a phrase. I also don't like "blah blah blah these are just slang and yes I get annoyed when folks use words in ways that are slang or less well known.

  • @BIuejay I did not mock her at all. I simply reexplained why I did not like the phrase. Now since I believe I was being critical of Gordon Ramsey and only being clear to Doretta. I don't know what is bugging you over an old comment. Nor do I care.

Try in the future to sling together 50 word with out profanity. Realize that Gordon speaks english. I have every right to be critical. He communicates poorly and is just plain rude 90% of the time.

    Good day Miss.

  • @Timerider I think GR is extremely effective at communicating ideas and he is very, very good at identifying what the problems are concerning all the restaurants he helps out and then solving those problems. If GR was a poor communicator as u say, how on earth would he have achieved such excellence in the culinary world, opened several highly successful restaurants and hosted at least 3 highly successful TV shows? So what if he says 'fuck' alot?I think that is part of his appeal.

  • There's also the sedentary lifestyle and processed sugars. For instance, when I lived in Morocco, I ate cheese like a fiend, and actually lost a lot of weight. Because it was natural, not that synthetic shit we get in the US

  • Took him long enough to get his head out of his ass.

  • lolz everything is UNIQUE! my god if i hear that one more time i'm gonna flip shit

  • i agree

  • This guy is sutch an asshole gordon should have live him in his shit and fuck himself

  • I heard this guy is trying to open up a pizza joint in New York ? Haha, he couldn't even survive in LA, how the hell does he think hes gonna survive in the pizza mecca of the world? He won't last more than a month in NY.

  • i like how he has a shit fit - followed immediately by an epiphany... lol.

  • cried like baby...how old is Sebastion? 9 or 11 ?

  • What a FUCKING FOOL........

  • I hope he shut down i wouldn't wanna eat there with a dumb fuck as an owner!

U think people really wanna eat there after they see this???

One thing is for sure his staff will find a much better job after this episode is shown.Sebastian if u wanna make something out urself go back too school get a job at wall mart and work in the frozen dep, i'm sure u will b manager soon u have exp.

  • yeah....thats wat he wanted right to be in all supermarkets LOL

  • I feel bad for some of the staff, they aren`t all that bad. Sebastian really ruined it not only for himself, but for many more people.

  • doesn't ramsey come back after 3 months or so to check up on the resturant, how come he didn't do it this time? did the resturant go under or what? :P

  • On the US version he goes back to the still open ones at the start of the next season. Sebastion's closed in January '08, lo' and behold he reverted to frozen shit, saying in interview Ramsey was a 'hack' people complained about the lack of the huge menu, and called GR's menu 'fresh crap'. The people complaining were the jokers walking off with free beer and comped food every night.

  • He went back to the old menu and immediately went tits up. Closed!

  • Your not a good cook. You don't cook anything dumb shit.

  • apparently he didn't go to school at all. he doesn't even have common sense.

  • Common Sense does not exist anymore. It is in fact uncommon. This is evidenced by the fact that screwdrivers now come with labels warning us not to stick them in our eyes. Coffee has a label warning you it is hot.. I think we should take the top 1000 litigious people in the US and drop them and their lawyers in a hole, As an example of what will happen to those who file frivolous law suits from now on..

  • oh dear, when everyone is hard at work, sebastian starts monologuing

  • hahaha lol i know right? whats up with that he dont work hard

  • what? did sabastion think he could turn around and be the good guy at the end? come on now, man. this is a cooking show not a soap opra.

  • gone Done!

  • sebastian u aint gettin nowhere u fat fucking loser

i hope u can read this someday and have another hissy fit ufucking fat cunt

  • Correct!!! youl be a fool if you didnt accept that changes!

  • did this place go under?

  • Yes it did-he thought he was better than Ramsay and the place went under-he is in New York on his wife's Money trying to get another pizza place going with the same stupid idea-what a putz!

  • wow... if it didnt work the first time, what makes him think it's gonna work again? i don't wish bad things on anyone but man... that is sad

  • An Italian restaurant is there now. Bet it serves real pizzas!

  • Sebastion was such an ass and now it's preserved in video so everyone knows what a putz this guy was-he must feel REAL good about himself-right up there with that Martin jerk from Dillons-way to go Sebastion-might want to use acting like an asshole on your Acting resume, because you certainly didn't make a living cooking

  • "I'm a damned good cook"... yeah a real wizard with the microwave.

  • this guy was abused when he was just a kid

  • nah I don't think his melodramtic speach was contrived at all, that guy is really just THAT delusional and he failed as a result, lol.

  • Wow, that was my first and only foray into the US version of this. Sebastian is a complete phony. Heck I expected to hear the Battle Hymn of the Republic after "the big fight" when he's says in his quavering voice, by gum I'm gonna be a good cook someday - ya gonna see. Sigh. How sad. I mean the UK stuff is probably contrived too, but way more interesting and doesn't seem as hokey.

  • Guess Kitchen Nightmares didn't help too much. He went BACK to the old menu.. Sebastian's closed it's doors on January 20th 2008, good for the smug bastard..

I guess he didn't "win" that one..

  • OMG111 YOU'RE SO COOL..

  • Oh dear. After being a fan of the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares I thought I`d give this a whirl. Feeling totally contrived, this program feels more like an epsiode of that awful storm sories on the weather channel with Gordons narration being dropped in favour of bland, generalised commentary. The program felt like it came from nowhere and went nowhere displaying none of the insight into the process of change normally shown on UKKN. Utter crap.

  • Agree! That's confected Hollywood for you.

  • TOTALLY STAGED! If I was Ramsay and I was 'coaching' him, I'd be standing there going 'Come on! This is Bollocks!' He needs to go back to his formula of REALITY that was used in the UK instead of this fake drama and acting in the US version. I won't watch any of the NY episodes based on this one. Thank goodness we get BBC America on cable because I can't watch this crap he made for the US market.

  • Please tell me that this restaurant is not still in full operation! This guy was a failure to begin with! I'm sorry. Something I've learned with my cooking, don't be so hurt when someone doesn't like it. Because more than half of the time, if they don't like it, neither do the costumers!

  • the UK version is sooooo much better on every single level

  • I agree. The UK version is so much better. Here in America we have too much bull shit! This is one example of an ass hole not willing to admit he's wrong. At least the Euro one's are more interesting. Not to mention they are more motivated to earn Michelin Stars.

  • yes but america is much more fucked

  • Totally delusional characters like this guy who eventually melt-down due to blind hubris is a metaphor for America.

  • This is a good example of how a lot of these failing restaurants are 'owner's ego'-oriented rather than customer-oriented. The Walnut Tree Inn episode in the UK version is another good example of a restaurant business going down the toilet as a result of the owner stubbornly refusing to adapt.

  • this donkey deserves to sink with all honesty.

  • Is the UK version really that much better? I haven't seen it, as it really isn't available here. I would like to check it out.

  • Yes it's better and yes it is available ;) Look harder

  • The stories go into more detail and the scenes aren't as shortened. You learn a lot more about the businesses this way I think.

  • I think this fat fuck was trying to put on a show thinking some casting agent would be impressed by his "acting".

  • American version is too soft,, in the UK series,,, he says the word 'FU**' almost every second and he shouts non stop which makes it more exciting...

  • the US version really sucks...

  • god the american version sucks... it really does.

  • already closed? what a wanker.

  • imagine this fat nut as a contestant in HK...fuk he would be broken by GR!!! lol

  • all this is so fake

  • Thanks for the post. Sebastian sure is lucky with the staff he's got. Bunch of nice, hard working, cool people.

  • I hate how in the American version Ramsey doesn't go back a month or two after he left. I really liked seeing what happened to the different British restaurants and think they should have kept that.

  • If I was in Ramsey's position, I'd never go back. Lol.

  • Well the sad truth is that LA is full of people just like Sebastian. Half of the people that are there seeking sucess are pretty smart and a small fraction actually has real talent but there is a huge contingent that are just clueless dreamers. Sebastian is a tragic example of the latter.

  • This guy was an idiot, he deserved to have his business fail.

I gotta say, as an american, I enjoy the UK episodes A LOT more than the US episodes. The US version is just too....hmm...I guess I'll say too FOX. Like Ramsay says "keep it simple", FOX just spiced it up too much.

  • Sebastian's is closing down on january 20, and they are moving back to Boston. No news yet if the restaurant has been sold or is just closing up...

Closed and will soon be another Italian restaurant, owned by Albano's guy

How guys like Sebastian manage to own a buisness in the first place baffles me..complete idiot

  • he obviously called his wife and she told him to stfu and listen to ramsey

  • So, what happened to sebastians?

    Anyone know?

  • Closed Jan 2008

  • Ok, thanks.

Im not surprised the least though

  • Oh god, the sickening music as he blubs away "I know im a talent cook, and i'll get there. I'll get there" No you won't, you can't run a kitchen and your not a chef due to your disregard for a thing called 'flavour'. A nice little american-dream-esque statement but what a ignorant bastage

  • Great staff, shitty boss. I've dealt with that crap too many times. Sad to see. This idiot couldn't run a hot dog stand.

  • Geez, that Sebastian - what a complete dick. Give him a slap and send him on his way!

  • two days later his 20 combo menu comes back lol

  • It would be interesting to know if Seb regrets not sticking to Gordons menu.

  • So.....we don't know what happens??!!! I'd really love to see if he did admit defeat and see that he was a true nightmare and that Ramsey was Right;)

  • I saw the end of this episode. If I recall correctly, the business eventually failed a few weeks later. :/ Guess he went back to his old ways.

  • Well, I guess we can safely assume that he may not have been too successful. Think about it...for 2.5 years, his menu did not work. Why would now be different?

  • The ending is priceless. Just when the guy had a good shout and a good cry and you think he had some sense knocked into him, he goes, 'I don't have to agree with [Gordon's] methods, it's the result that counts!' What an unbelievable idiot.

  • Thanks for posting tcduck02.

  • well, he has 12 michelin stars in his carrier so far. and that sebastian is just a stupid arrogant, idiot, who thought that he had the idea of the century. i m only sorry about his kids. no kid deserve a pile of shit as a dad

  • But hopefully this part of his life will make him see that and spur him on to be better at everything, including for his children. We all have those moments scattered through our lives...and hopefully we learn and grow from them. Ps. 12 Michelin stars is an incredible feat for Gordon, a real driven, passionate, talented man.

  • theres always this bullshit fairytale happy endings with american programs and movies...its so dissapointing

  • Yes it was strange one minute Sebastian looked like he was going for a gun, then suddenly he was crying like he discovered his long lost son. I thought I missed a couple of scenes.

It was the sheer ridiculousness of his comments like 'world wide franchise' of his crap ideas, he thought he'd won the argument because Gordon was speechless.

He had great staff and I hope they found a better employer.

Truth is that Sebastian is a thick twat, better he's closed.

  • For the uninformed -- Sebastian's did close in January, so Gordon was right and Sebastian was wrong and is now licking his wounds. So yes, it does pay to listen to Gordon sometimes -- I mean he has like seven Michilin Stars, so he must know something, right?

  • haha, good for sebastian...Thanks for the info, it sucked not knowing!

  • That jerk sebastian deserved to fail! I'm soory for the staff and his family though!

  • It's a bit sad. It's hard to accept that very personal kind of failure - but when one of the world's greatest chefs is on your team you should listen to him, especially when your wife has invested $300,000 of her own money. Vanity projects...

  • If sebastians brain was as big as his stomach then things might get through!

  • That twat owner made the show more about himself, and his "cooking abilities" when it was easy to see his manager/cook was the strongest one in the kitchen. I bet if I look up his menu online, he has undone anything Gordon did.

  • one of the few episodes where i was actually hoping they would close

  • Lol

  • google sebastian's

    c their menu

it still has those combination things...

    that's kind of sad

  • pride is an amazing thing

  • Marcellus Wallace needs to teach this bloke a lesson :

"That's pride fuckin' wit' you. Fuck. Pride."

  • thats right, cry fat man, and wallow in your rightly deserved failure like the swine you are, miserable bastard

  • Sebastian is in denial - no different to the contestants on American Idol who can't sing and don't know why they are not advanced to the next stage.

  • this guy would rather lose money doing things "his way" than make money someone elses way . Not good!

  • I don't blame Gordon for what he said about Sebastian, after what he did

  • Why don't they do the revisit a month later in the USA version? It's nice to see how they are doing a month later when Gordon goes back.

Whats with the "kitchen nightmares is now casting" are they saying they use actors?

  • It means casting for the resturants they will use in the series after this one I think.

  • Also as he lives in the UK it's easier to check back on those resturants in terms of travelling than ones in the US I'd imagine.

  • I tot Ramsey checks back on the restaurant after a few months?

Or does that only happen in the later seasons?

  • snoochie boochies

  • boo hoo hoo fucking hoo...WEAK people do not venture into business. Name me one weak person who ventured into business that are actually truley successful? I wish these chefs would just shut the fuck up and take the damn advice...Americans are so ARROGANT...OMG!

  • Not really Americans. The British ones are just as bad, but a bit more low key.

They seem to think, chef's are temperamental, I'll be temperamental, but won't bother with all that cooking crap. Amazing.

  • tcduck02 thanks for the upload please keep them coming

  • geezos. what's wrong with him. lol so right on the microwave chef.

makes me scared of the microwave.

  • dam i want to see a 1month later thing to see if the dutch bag screws up!!

  • i heard his back with his ' flavours'

  • listen to him hes right

  • I LOVE GORDON RAMSAY

  • I LOVE GORDON RAMSAY

  • He's the best microwave chef in the world... fucken tosser
