Thanks for sharing this here. I have never seen this video before tonight, i've watched it like 10X in the last hour. One of my best friends gave me Red Hot & Blue for Christmas 1990, i loved disc butt i hated that Steven died shortly after of AIDS.I have rarely listened to it since then. I've kissed many lovely faces that were the wrong face since then. Poz since at least 1985. john
In the mid 80's I saw a Tom Waits black and white music video of him in a top hat marching down streets with other people following him. Anyone know what song that might have been for. I had wondered if it was this song, but don't think so after seeing this.
@videosurfers prolly thinking of the music video for 'in the neighborhood'. you can find it on youtube, but it's got a weird fisheye filter that i don't remember in the original video.
@videosurfers That's "In the neighborhood", and it's wonderful. Even more so when you see the live version from the Tube, try and look that one up. That's what got me hooked at first.
because Tom had to pull out of the production a little early, Jarmusch had to make this video out of test footage he'd shot to prepare for the video. turned out pretty well!
Directed and shot by Jim Jarmusch if I'm not mistaken.

It's from Red Hot and Blue (the song is Cole Porter's) the album is an HIV / AIDs prevention album made in the early nineties I think

Is there any possible place I could download this from?! This is the best thing I've ever seen. Without people like Tom Waits I'd go freakin' insane.
