  • both beautiful, i had a German Shepherd named Diesel but we had to put him down as he was old and dying :(. then my friend had Siberian Huskies puppies for sale and i bought 2 of the brothers who i named Shadow and Bullet. ive had them for about 2 years and i love them heaps lol :D

  • so cute

  • Wow, those are both such beautiful names for dogs! I'm actually getting a male Golden Retriever soon; I would love if it you could suggest some names for him, we can't think of any that particularly stand out :s Thankyou!

  • @firefly825 Thanks! We just named them after things we like. My husband loved the name Maximus from the movie Gladiator. Before we got to bring Storm home, I was thinking of names for her outside one day and these amazing gray storm clouds started forming. Since she was gray and white and I LOVE storms, I thought of naming her Storm. It just felt right. Think of things you love or movie/Tv characters you like and you'll come up with the perfect name for your dog.

  • Dam, that german shepard is huge for a 2 year old!!!!! I wonder if thats just Fat, Pure Muscle or just superb genetics! Huskys look like little teddy toys compared to german shepards

  • @Theshofumiah1 He's not fat at all. He's really tall and long. His dad was pretty big too.

  • Have you ever considered breeding the two dogs? I think the combination of the two is beautiful. :D

  • @CarmenGFX No. Both of my dogs are spayed/neutered. I don't believe in breeding my pets because shelters are so overflowing with dogs. I don't want to contribute to the problem.

  • @Latigresa81 Oh ok, I understand that opinion.

  • I wonder... is one a female and one a male?... because I keep on hearing that 2 male dogs together isn't good...people tell me only one male has to stay but not 2 of them.

  • @dms5805 read the description?

  • @stoffesickan Oh xD... thanks.. I guess I was blinded from looking at the description. the dogs gave me a major distraction because they're so cute together.. :)

  • @dms5805 okay

    that i can understand:)

i almost did'nt see it either cuz they're so cute but ur wlcm:)

  • @dms5805 The German Shepherd is male and the Siberian Husky is female. I don't think there's really a rule about 2 males together, etc. Every dog is different. I know lots of people who have 2 males or 2 females that get along just fine.

  • @dms5805 Ok, well, I also heard that, if they can at least get to know each other very well it's possible 2 male dogs can stick together. You have really a couple of beautiful dogs that are in love <3 :D I think that the Siberian Husky and the German Shepherd both are similar by their looks of course! Indeed, I only find that those 2 kind of dogs in this world are absolutely gorgeous looking! :)

  • did you spay or nut any of them? and how much does your shep weigh? its very beautiful!!

  • @SlipKnotmaggotkills They are both spayed/neutered. Maximus is about 110 pounds. Thanks!

  • Maxi is big o,.,O Is he an alpha? or is Storm just small?

  • @HappyIsFleeting Max is really large for a german shepherd, and Storm is on the small side for a Siberian Husky. Neither of them are alpha. In my house, I am alpha! :)

  • @Latigresa81 I didnt rank... I meant does he have an alpha's genes. The larger ones are called alphas even tho they have a lower rank in the pack. Alpha in this sense means larger but not in rank. I have 2 alpha rottweilers, one is 157lbs, the other is 162lbs. Alpha has more than one meaning, some meanings have been lost in translations :)

  • maximus and storm awesome

  • What a great pair! There was something that worried me when at :58 I noticed Maximus' lower jaw go under Storms collar and it reminded me of my two late Alaskan Malamutes. They used to play and "roughhouse" like that also in the house until one day the smaller female got her lower jaw caught in the "big guys" collar and dislocated her jaw. $1,500 later and a long time healing we were more cautious. We started to remove their collars in the house and got "break away" collars for the yard. FYI....

  • I'm not much a dog person, but I have to say, these are two beautiful doggies! I've always admired Huskies (from afar), and I have always considered German Shepherds to be very noble looking dogs (too much cop tv I guess!). Lol, I guess the Husky would love her snow, haha.

  • Aww the two dogs I want in one video X) Jealous !! :)

  • Is Storm Maximus's mate now or no? Just asking.

  • @haloman4311 No. Maximus is neutered and Storm is spayed.

  • defenitly more fiesty from the siberian, sheperds are more calm but as you can see he has no problem putting her on the ground haha

  • This is amazing. I want to have a german shepherd and a husky whenever i get my own house. It's like watching my own dream come to life. You have wonderful dogs :)

  • @Fearlessmaster12 Thanks! My husband always wanted a german shepherd as a kid and I always wanted a siberian husky, so we each got our dream dogs after we got married and bought a house with a yard for them.

    We're a happy little family!

  • awesome video...we 4 rescues... a pure white Siberian Husky (now 8), a Alaskan Malamute (now 11), a Miniature schnauzer (now 13) and a Siberian Husky /German Shepherd Mix (we believe anyway who is now 8 also)... they are the BEST dogs. We want to get a German Shepherd eventually... when there is a opening in the pack... hopefully not for many years but Shepherds are such awesome dogs and great protecters of the family too (unlike most Sibes although ours came to mine one day and shocked me!)

  • how do you deal with their shedding??? or are you just used to it by now? lol

  • @SuperNicole722 I vacuum several times a week!

  • @SuperNicole722 i have 2 sheppies. we got rid of the carpet and got tiles. much easier to clean!

  • It's all fun n' games until someone falls down those steps.

  • how does storm like alaska?

  • @angryfurniture She LOVES it! She was born in Texas, but it's like she was born here. In the Winter I can never get her to come inside. She loves to be out in the cold even if it's 20 degrees below zero, meanwhile my German Shepherd can't wait to get back in!

  • I FKING LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HUSKYS in dis video mr. huskay is like YOU CANT TOUCH ME FOOL then keeps on biting him LOL

  • Beautiful pair! I have the same match up. a 2 year old husky and and a 4 month old german shepherd. I was a little concerned about how the two breeds would get along but I've had mine together for 2 months now and they have DEFINITELY bonded. Glad to see another happy pair. :)

  • 100lb GSD is a HUGE dog :D He is so beautiful. I can tell who is the shyt disturber between the two dogs though :P Storm is a beautiful name for a husky, this video made me a little sad because it makes me miss my husky wolf hybrid... Great video

  • @xpoohx105 Thanks!

  • That looks like our dogs fighting except its a German Shepherd vs Yorkie

  • both breeds r very trainable and beautiful, still surprised the sheppard doesnt snap

  • @DLow1290 Our shepherd never snaps at anyone or anything. He's a wonderful dog and so very sweet!

  • @DLow1290 Shepards rarely snap. However, its never a good idea to breed these two breeds. They tend to have a higher chance of a recessive gene from the original linse. Mainly you see a shepard go bad when one of 3 things happen. completely horrible training, a recessive gene , or if they have been left in the wild.

  • beautiful shepherd! where did you get him from? im looking to get a big one like that

  • @Thatuptownguy Thank you! He's from a breeder in a little town called Dime Box, Texas. He just weighed in at 99 pounds at his last vet appointment!
