  • Cris Carter is the perfect no.2 receiver, great hand, average speed, kinda like he can't beat your DB, but he can always beat out his back up

  • all these statements are fact based on stats not no network analyst bias ignoramus opinion, its clear there's animosity towards jerry rice cuz he probably raped most of these analyst favorite teams bak in the day

  • If defensives payed more attention to CC like rice I doubt he would have had such success like rice he would have had more drop ball plus carter wasn't good in extending a play all these statements are fact based on stats!

  • CC wasn't consider a very well route runner he had to over emphasize his hand skills to make up for lack there of,harrison ran route ass well as rice did put lack physical play nd play making abilities after the catch he had to be in motion to be successful after the play

  • CC catches looked amazing cuz majority of the time the passes were overthrown never own the money, were else rice catches were made against perfect coverage nd majority of the time were double coverage with safety help cc never commanded such attention from defensive coordinators

  • And remember that harrison nd carter had balls thrown attempts there way nearly (16%)more then rice which even makes rice skills far more superior then anyone else's,nd those guys yac is garbage meaning the weren't big play makers after the catch

  • Nfl network be shOotin themselves, espn, nfl network put rice as the greatest player of all time, and the greatest receiver of all time, route runner u named it he's number 1,he holds the record for receptions of all time, guess what nfl network dummies to do all that u must have the greatest hands of all time,I can understand u want to make him look human but this is just clear hating

  • HoF this year for sure!

  • Check out those Starter jerseys lol.

  • It's jerry rice these people are fucking delusional. Look at every recieving record there is. Jerry Rice is number fucking 1. Get over it.

  • @dovanian this isn't the top 10 wr's, its the best hands -_- an entirely different list

  • I'm not the biggest Vikings fan but I will say this guy is BEAST

  • dang he was just catchin balls with hakeem nicks on espn. still got it.

  • When talking about how he catches it one handed, at 1:19 in the background someone failed to do that.

  • tell me someone who had better hands than harrison chris carter yea he had better hands but no one else did period harrison caught everything that came towards him i say every game he ever played

  • They need to revise this list and put Randy Moss on it this is BS! Fred Biletnikoff is on the list and he used stick-um! how did the NFL ever allow players to use that shit? i dont get it.

  • 1:58 !!!

  • why isnt marvin harrison on this list he had the greatest hands of all time period

  • @chicagogrown92 Yea right Harrison's hands were good but not #1 of all time, lol what are ya nuts??

  • @chicagogrown92 he was on this list, he was #10

  • Randy Moss>or=Cris Carter

    Fuck Jerry Rice

  • I agree

  • Brandon Lloyd reminds me of him

  • that dude is just fucking incredible, its just amazing a human being could be that skilled

  • This is a crock. No receiver in the games history dropped less passes that that touched his fingers than Art Monk. I never saw him drop one. Some claim to have witnessed it. But when that guy dropped one it was an event, it made the news. He was also a winner, unlike Carter.

  • @pablocoon Not winning doesn't matter, because one guy doesn't win you a championship, a whole team & coaches do that collectively. All Carter did was master his position. He didn't have tremendous speed, but he always found a way to get open and he was always going to catch the ball. To put up the stats he did while enduring the Vikings' ridiculous QB carousel of the '90s shows that no matter who was throwing the ball he'd never miss a beat.

  • hes just a dumb you know what....just listen to that dumb you know what speak. and he is one ugly mother you know what....

  • That one at 1:08 is unbelivable!

  • fuck the voters, cris carter deserves to be in the hall of fame

  • i ♥ cris carter

  • Comment removed

  • 1. Cris Carter

    2. Randy Moss

    3. Jerry Rice

    No arguing

  • @rangerbylaw No arguing? Um, I wouldn't put Carter in my top 10 receivers and Art Monk was a far more reliable pass catcher and a 3 time world champion to boot.

  • @rangerbylaw I can't even accept Moss in the top five WR of all time. Moss playing w/ 80's/early 90's rules against Darrell Green, Rod Woodson and Deion Sanders no longer is even a viable threat at the WR position as all he could do was run the go route (and when he did he rarely even got open and had to jump over the top of people to "Moss" them) This doesn't work even 10 years earlier than he began to play. I submit "Rice'n" someone is being so open that Ryan leaf could make the throw. Rice1

  • @rangerbylaw If you want to talk about greatest hands, that's laughable. Raymond Berry is number 1. He may not have made the amazing catches like Cris Carter, but he only dropped 2 passes in his career. Unitas would often throw to Berry at an awkward position while he was covered because he knew Berry would come down with it. Moss doesn't give it his all, he's a quitter. Rice dropped quite a few passes, but caught a lot as well. As for greatest receiver, Hutson should be either 1 or 2.

  • Get this guy in the Hall!

  • where is rice

  • @funnycomedyBoom Rice is definatly a speed reciever. Not that he doesnt have great hands but nobody beat Carter

  • @0cguitarfreak he was not the fastest guy in the world but he is number one in my book

  • he looks like tupac

  • PUT HIM IN THE HALL YOU BASTARDS!!!! GOD!

  • Y ISNT HE IN THE HALL OF FAME?????

  • @Z9AFORMUZIC Its baffling to us all NFL fans. Hes #1 on my list of guys who should be in the HOF.

  • Of course, he's a Buckeye!

  • WTF so why isnt he in the Hall?

  • I really dont know how he isnt in the hall of fame,

  • @ 3:20 2Pac lives

  • What no irvin on this list I kno he wasn't the best but damn he deserves to b on the lists

  • Duron carter jus like is father

  • Well deserved #1. Get this guy in the HOF.

  • Rice doesn't belong anywhere near this list. He was an absolute drops machine. He was still a phenomenal receiver because of his devastating big play ability, but the myth that he had great hands needs to be put to rest. It's an absolute joke. If you were to load any 10 games from Rice's career, you will get see at least 10 drops over those 10 games every time. And he didn't exactly make a ton of spectacular receptions, either.

  • damn i wish they could get him back, just one season, i miss watching him play, it was AMAZING to watch him do what HE did best

  • Cris Carter is a no-brainer at #1.

  • @ BigMohn: Vikings fans hate Cris Carter? Are you kidding? We love this guy. He's far and away the best Viking to ever catch a pass, and #2 all time after only Jerry Rice.

  • And Viking fans still hate this guy because they feel he didn't show or reflect proper leadership skills while playing for the Vikings! CAN YOU SAY RETARDED?

He showed his leadership by making all those catches when no one expected him too! His mentorship of Randy Moss for what seemed like a decade, but in reality was only about 4 years, showed the exact kind of leadership a team needs, unfortunately for the dumb shits who run the Vikings, 51 years of futility speaks volumes! HOO AH CC!

  • @BigMoInAZ I've never met a Vikings fan that didn't absolutely love Cris Carter - must less "hate this guy."

  • @APviKINGsz28 You don't get out much then! Just google discussion boards or visit ESPN or even here on UTUBE and you'll find lots of Viking fans hating on CC! I call 'em delusional because their hating on the player and not his game! To me he was the best the Vikings ever had outside of Randy Moss so I'll let his HOF career speak for itself! As for the morons in Minnesoda who keep hating on CC or Moss, I try to just IGNORE THEM!

  • @BigMoInAZ i have never met a vikings fan that didn't LOVE Carter, he was one of the best that have ever cought the ball. He's the reason that the bitch boy Randy Moss was as good as he was. if Moss would have kept going the way that Carter had him going he would be the BEST, but know Carter left and Moss turned into a baby back bitch

  • @blazedjuggalo42069 Dude Cris Carter even said himself "i was telling Randy personally that he was the best i'd ever seen" i dont know if you actually know anything about Randy Moss? saying Carter was the reason he was as good as he is. Its not really true, Moss scored 44 receiving touchdowns in only 2 seasons with Marshall in college. i will admit Carter helped Moss mature, but the talent was already there long before Moss and Carter ever met. U R a tard

  • @mpj32587 yes i know that, but look at what happened to Moss after Carter left, he became a cry baby bitch, with his hole "if they ball ain't thrown to me like 60% of the time, i can take a bunch of money from the vikings and leave" screw moss, with out Carter, he is nothing

  • 1:32 the catch is amazing...

  • Jerry Rice had the best hands ever....no question!

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo #4 larry fitzgerald all day hes a badass from AZ wooh yea and dont hate

  • my favorite footbal player!!! for the record I have never seen Carter drop no 3 or 4 passes a game Rice yeah Irving yea but Carter HELL NO!!!

  • my favorite footbal player!!!

  • Does Cris Carter still play?

  • @Smonhaut no, he retired in 2002, I believe, but held many records when he retired

  • @Smonhaut uhh no! He retired in 2002.

  • They Cn't Be Seruous ....Their Top 10s are usually pretty good. But what were they thinking listing Swan who helped lead the Steelers to four Super Bowls, not to mention a SB MVP, at #9 and Kellon Winslow of a ringless Charger team at #6?????

  • @Mel0132 i thought that was a pretty solid listing, since Swan dropped numerous passes ,and didn't catch many passes. while Winslow was a Tight-end who posed a recieving threat to the teams he faced only because of his hands. He just happened to be on a team with bad defense, so i don't think you can add rings to the equation of best hands, since rings don't add to anything.

  • What I said stands: I don't recalling EVER seeing Biletnikoff drop a pass, except in warmups where he looked the ball into his hands and dropped EVERY pass after doing that. Nobody who ever played was even close to that. If you don't believe it, it's not my fault. I can only guess you never saw him play.

  • Correction: Ray Berry played in the pre-1978 era. Still, his hands were not as good as Biletnikoff's.

  • Total crap. The greatest hands were Fred Belitnikoff: period.

Carter played after 1978, when the defensive back couldn't touch the receiver after they got 5 yards downfield. Biletnikoff played from 1966, when a DB could grab you, body slam you, punch or push you, head slap you or anything else, until the ball was in the air. You think stickum offset that? duh...

I saw games where Carter would drop 2 or 3 passes a game. Same with Rice... NOBODY had hands like FB.

  • @fistofate So your argument is that it was easier for Carter to get open, therefor he couldn't catch the ball as well as Belitnikoff??? And you saw games where Carter and Rice both dropped the ball??? Well duh, nobody's perfect, but I'm also sure they were targeted much more often than Bilentikoff was, so the chances of seeing a game where they may not catch the ball increases, but you can't tell me Bilentikoff caught every single thing thrown his way for his entire career. Sorry bro Carter no.1

  • 10. Marvin Harrison 9. Lynn Swann 8. Sterling Sharpe 7. Jerry Rice 6. Kellen Winslow Sr. 5. Fred Biletnikoff 4. Larry Fitzgerald 3. Steve Largent 2. Raymond Berry 1. Cris Carter THIS LIST SUCKS NFL NETWORK! How f*ck is Randy Moss not on this list??
  • @42 lol the right caught 122 and his left helped out every once in a while.

  • how in the hell did he not get in the hof this offseason. i understood last year.. but seriously?

  • Why the hell wasn't he on the NFL's greatest 100 players of all time?

  • catch at 1:00 is sickkkk

  • c'mon man no cc in the hof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HALL OF FAME

  • Cris Carter or tupac?!!???? Lmao

  • el maestro de randy moss el mas grande cris carter

  • @longbowgold67 how can u say Moss is not a great receiver? Look at his highlights. He made amazing catches with his hands. When in minnesota nd New England he made it sooo eazy to catch. He jus sticks out his hands, sometimes even one hand and catches the ball like its nothing! The ONLY time he drops balls is when he dont wana play or overthrown.

  • i didnt know cris was that great...i got into him post nfl career, too bad for me lol...nah, he's a great analyst/commentator

  • 2:02 that guy looks scary

  • How is he not in the HOF or top 100 players

  • @SKOLLVIKINGS28 rigged

  • everyone forgets about cris carter too much he was the man who made other teams practice their wrs in 1hand catches more

  • @itrguy000 he was also the man who turned the sideline catch famous.

  • He was absolutely sick, he's great on the panel too, usually makes key points.

  • well idk about cris carter having the greatest hands they left out randy moss wen he was with the vikings nd 07 patriots because ive seen randy moss jump over 3 people and catch the ball with 1 hand randy moss has done it all nd makes it seem easy because of his size, his arm reach and his amaizing hops cris carter makes these catches so difficult oh and i left out randy mosses 4.25 forty - yard dash speed

  • It's bullshit how cc wasn't in top 100 nfls greatest players

  • Randy doesn't have the best hands. He's the best deep threat ever, no question, but Cris almost never dropped a pass. Randy gives up if he doesn't get his way.

  • Wat the hell!!! Wheres randy moss???? He has the best hands of all time. He should be #3 best hands. Rice should be #2. What the hell these people dont know wat they talkin bout or anything at all bout moss n rice.

  • @rvx87 This is about which guys caught footballs better then anyone else, not about how good they were as receivers. Moss is amazing. He's a superhuman freak. He's the greatest vertical receiver ever and one of my favorite players of all time, but he does not have the best hands ever.

  • cc is a beast!!!!!!

  • I get goosebumps watching CC's highlights. He deserves to have the best hands title. Jerry Rice #1 Chris Carter #2 There is no discussion here.

  • cris carter is in the top five reception ever ,randy moss cant touch him period.....but jerry rice best wide out ever !!!!!

  • @koolkurd82 that is y randy moss broke jerry rices record nd randy moss is faster bitch

  • Chris was a douche. If Chris reads this, don't be so full of your yourself. Nobody shows up at a tennis tournament to see Chris Carter.

  • Tell me that doesn't look like Tu-Pac 3:21

"Every good man I know been though something" 3:43...so true Chris...so true!

  • DAMN!!! And I never even heard of him!

  • top 100 nfl players list is bull shit, randy moss is on there but not cris carter?

  • @WaxenMeatpatty Chris Carter didnt play last year, its top 100 of 2011

  • @timenyart they made a top 100 player list of all time :P and randy moss made it on but cris carter didnt. in fact i dont think john randle was on that list either, just proving my point even more, the list is bullshit.

  • @WaxenMeatpatty How did neither of these players get on that list? i'm not even a vikings fan but Chris Carter was better than Jerry Rice, and he definately had the softest hands ever in the history of football

  • I waz pissed when I found out he wasn't on that list!

  • Chris should get the nod in about 2 nanoseconds for the hall of fame.

Who wouldn't play him as a starter for any all time selection.

  • i agree but moss should have been in 6-9 and rice # 2

  • Why is Cris Carter not in the hall of fame and why is he not one of the top 100 players of all time?

  • @Bball05k apparently its "NFL's top players with the best stats

  • @KKKwerKKK If 1101 catches and 130 tds doesnt get you on the list something is wrong with that list

  • how the vikings didnt win it all in 1998 is beyond me. we honestly had THE perfect team. john randall randy moss cris carter. :(

  • Hey man sorry but you think you could upload the other ones please? 4 3 and 2 are missing I believe. Cheers

  • I miss you so much CC. THE best receiver to play the game. INCLUDING JERRY RICE. Even A GIRL ( like ME), lol, if they know anything about the game should know thats an uncontestable fact. Best Hands to ever catch a Football..............I'm so proud after watching this I'm almost in tears. AND WE LOVE YOU TOO RANDY! GO #84!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:48- THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE

  • CC didn't need two hands to catch a football.

  • randy moss did that same catch against darrell revis. I'de say he learned it from CC.

  • Cris Carter should have been a first ballot HOF'er

He will go but it is absurd that he is not now!

    Love ya CC

  • I think this where Moss learned how to one hand catch :P

  • love the respect given Cris Carter....people can say what they want, Cris Carter had a range of being able to catch the football (which trumps stats as the deciding factor of how good a wideout truly is) that exceeded nearly everyone, including the # 80 that played in San Francisco....he also perfected the sideline catch

  • Im glad my name is carter

  • Cris Carter had the greatest hands i have ever seen in the NFL. i dont ever remember seeing Cris drop a pass. the man's hands sweat glue.

  • @VpY22 .............

  • Cater is above Jerry rice or any other receiver for the simple reason, he never had a montan or elway or any hof qb to throw him the ball

  • cris carter IS in the HOF. he was inducted after this list was made.

  • @nextbestrockstar

    He SHOULD be, but isnt

  • @nextbestrockstar Cris Carter is not in the HOF. YET.

  • Its such a disgrace that hes not in the Hall of Fame, Its like a slap in the face. The voters should be ashamed of themselves.

  • 1:34 simply amazing to me cris is the greatest receiver ever to play in the nfl

  • I dont understand why Larry fitz is ahead of Marvin fucking harrison in this list. wtf

  • @z4ng3tsu1ch1g0

nah, i agree with the list. larry has better hands than marvin. i think larry has the best set of hands since cris.

  • @VpY22 Nah I seen Fitz play. I think Fitz's best attribute is his ability to jump up and just grab the ball. He had that advantage over his defenders most of the time. Marvin never did. Fitz has great hands, but Marvin had better ones IMO. 143 receptions in a season come on now.

  • @z4ng3tsu1ch1g0 marvin had great hands too. and i agree that he was ranked too low on that list. idk, its a tough debate. when larry puts his hands on the ball his grip is so strong defenders cant knock the ball out of his hands. i've seen him make some ridiculous catches. take for example the td catch in the superbowl where he caught it with one hand and his helmet.

  • @VpY22 Are u fuckin serious? Larry does not have better hand Marvin and imma big time Larry Fitzgerald fan but for u to say that is jst wrong my friend...Go look at marvin highlights nd compare em wit Fitz nd u will see for ur self

  • Marshall Faulk said it right, Cris Carter's range to catch the football was maybe the best I've ever seen....you could throw the ball anywhere, from nearly any angle, even 2 yards out of bounds, and he would somehow make the catch and stay in-bounds...I think Cris Carter is a better catcher of the ball than Rice

  • Tim Brown and Cris Carter BOTH need to get into the HOF

  • 3:23 It's Tupac!

  • fuck that drugy hes no way near number one.neither raymond berry should not be number two more like 10.waht did he ever do that was so good?nothing.hell put rice at one , fred at two, and john jefferson at 3.

  • @mynbaprofile yo dumb ass. its NOT the top 10 best receivers of all time. if you watch the entire segment, they even elaborated that at the beginning. its top 10 best hands of all time.

  • Modern era class of 2011

    Tim brown

    Cris carter

    Deion sanders

    Marshall faulk(?)

    Curtis martin

  • @gemlagman1996 not even close..

curtis martin prolly, and marshall faulk..Deion for sure. plus Jerome Bettis. Tim brown will prolly get in before Cris, unfortunately.

  • Imo carter=tim brown=rice

  • The catch at 1:59 is the filthiest shit ever.

  • i once read that the reason he has such amazing hands is because his wife used to throw ball to him in the backyard when he was trying to hold down a job as starter.... she had such bad aim though that he never knew where to expect the ball and had to be prepared to catch the ball anywhere.

There are a lot of guys who have made better catches than Cris, but nobody else made as many amazing catches week in and week out as he did.

It's a crime he's not in the hall of fame.

  • Cris Carter should be inducted to hall of fame!

  • The guy was just insane and has been snubbed by the HOF. I know football is a team sport, but if the Vikings didn't have Carter they may not have had the great teams they had in the 90's.

  • carter needs to go to the hall of fame

  • carter and moss=dynamic duo. they just needed a better quarterback

  • Number One, Finnally they got it right on one of these Top Ten Shows

  • simply the greatest all around wide receiver ever, his sideline cathches, should be in the movies.

  • I should point that Cris used gloves. Could he have catched balls without them?

  • @Gwitfu90 hell ya he could

  • @Gwitfu90 Obviously. C'mon now don't ask stupid questions.

  • @363498 How is it a stupid question? It's an honest question.

  • larrys a head of jerry hell no

  • cris carter greatest receiver of all-time period! jerry rice 2nd!

  • hes one of my coaches

  • you're very lucky

  • @blakschool

That's sick dude. He didn't have the best speed but his hands and route-running were among the best the league has ever seen.

  • i miss seeing this guy playing

  • THE OHIO STATE ALUMNI

  • "Every good man I know been thru somethin" Great quote

  • he has to be a future HOF

  • @MrCrazykidproduction The hall of fame voters are either blind or DO NOT see great WR like cris carter he should be in there agreed?

  • @MrCrazykidproduction

Of course he is! He's the Babe Ruth of WR's !!!!!!!

  • You would think the voters would come to their sense, but no.

  • WHY IS HE NOT IN THE HALL OF FAME?

  • yo u gonna put the other top 10s on there its been like 2 months

  • 0:42

haha he sounds like cleveland from family guy...

but for real cris carter was the equal to jerry rice.. give him joe montana/steve young and you have almost identical stats..

  • Marvin Harrison deserved to be ALOT higher on this list he caught like 144 balls once

  • yo can u upload any of the other ones possibly?

  • was already planning to, I'll get on it in a couple days
