rock and stone cold get alot of credit for saving the wwe/wwf but shawn michaels is very undercredited for this too, he had a vision and direction leading to attitude, thats one reason him and bret hart(bret held on to the old way of wrestling) fought so much. His idea of dx helped spark the attitute era as much as austin's kick ass sumbitch character did. Point is austin carried it and did it better, but the the first steps towards attitude were taken by hbk. hbk deserves some credit here too.

I never realized that roberts had a lot in common with austin in many ways. This is sort of like passing the torch in a way. I never liked how he buried roberts there in the end but it is kinda symbolic. Two snakes battling out; the younger more faster one came out victorious. It couldnt have gone any other way
