  • all games works on this tablet???

  • I'm sorry but Would this be as powerful as an iPod 4th gen? weird comparison but It helps me get a better idea.

  • i had this tablet . 10 being the best and 1 being the worst . i give it 2

  • @seawinds12 thanks for the comment and sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. This tablet is at the very low end of the tablet range so if you are looking for something comparable to an iPad or Asus Transformer Prime experience then I totally agree with you that they are in a different league, but equally at a much higher price too. What did you end up getting in the end?

  • Can you put your music from itunes on it?

  • @BeatyCole24 thanks for the question. As far as I know you can't download iTunes music directly onto an Android tablet. However, there are apps such as DoubleTwist which you can get for Android that allow you to sync an iTunes library. I haven't tried this app on this tablet though. Internal storage is limited so you'd need to get a MicroSD card anyway to store your music.

  • Hey, does the BBC iplayer work, as many people have given me conflicting reviews

  • @LooseTeensdotnet thanks for the question. I've not got my M009S anymore but when I had it, I tried the iPlayer directly in the browser and it failed to load properly and then crashed out of the browser. It's a relatively weak processor so not really up to buffering Flash video. This may have improved with recent firmware updates but I wouldn't expect this to be robust given the low spec hardware. Hope this helps.

  • This also has more main screen?

  • @Engineer7701 thanks for the question. Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking, please can you give some details. Thanks

  • @tabletpcuk Sorry for the bad wording.

So: where the widgets we put (main screen), have a more this screen? I can scroll there pages?

  • thanks mate been thinking about buying one for a while now and you have made me more happy with them:)

  • @goughkid no worries and thanks for leaving the comment.

  • Hi tabletpcuk, thanks for the review, can you tell us what formats of video files does this tablet read?

  • @crazywoodlouse thanks for the question. I haven't got my version anymore but I checked with the distributors on Amazon and they've said MP4 and AVI video files. It will also play mp3 music files too. Hope this helps.

  • i dunnow what to do i want it but thers another one thats cleek and cool>>>>>

  • looks gud!

  • @LoopyLoollyPop no worries and hope you've managed to find it - looks like there's one available on Amazon right now.

  • can you review the 2.3 gingerbread version? it come with a A10 1.2ghz cpu and 400mhz mali dedicared gpu, its getting alot of good reviews by costumers but i would like to see a professional review made by you. thanks in advance.

  • @TheReaperWarrior thanks for your comment. I'm hoping to get hold of some of the updated models soon so will post a review as soon as I have one.

  • @LoopyLoollyPop no worries. There us a "NATPC M009S Capacitive" on Amazon that has a more responsive screen ("capacitive" is a screen type that are much more reactive than resistive screens), a more powerful processor and runs Android 2.3, which is a more recent version of Android. I can see that they're currently sold out but there is also a Tabtronics - A10 M009SC which looks like a similar spec. I haven't tried either but the specs look good for roughly £100. Hope this helps.

  • @LoopyLoollyPop thanks for the question. If you're navigating website then these are renedered to the size of the screen, this means that 7-inch tablets have smaller text than a 10-inch tablet and links are therefore smaller and a bit more fiddly to hit. The screen is fine but just not as responsive as you'd get on something like an iPad. It just means from time-to-time you need to press twice to ensure your tap is registered. Hope this helps.

  • Perfect for a 6year old to stop him playing bloody angry birds on my SGS2!!

  • @w1zardssleeve thanks for the comment. Agree, it's a good starter tablet.

  • would his be a good tablet for work and school?

  • @jocoman22 thanks for the question. It's fine for web surfing and apps but you wouldn't want to create content on it - e.g. wordprocessing. The screen would be too difficult to do a lot of typing on.

  • Does it come in white?

  • @nicoloreto thanks for the question. I've only seen it on Amazon in black. Although there is a M010S available in white there currently. I haven't tried the M010S but the specs look broadly similar.

  • Any lag? 2GB doesn't seem to be enough to store applications.

  • @waterpower105 thanks for your question. Yes, it's not the snappiest of tablets as it has a relatively weak processor to get to this low price point. As you say, 2GB internal memory is limited too so you won't be able to get a huge number of apps on here at any one time. If you're looking for a cheap tablet that does a good job then this is an option but if you want something comparable to a premium tablet then it's going to cost more.

  • does oovoo work

  • @johnjjify thanks for the question. Sorry I don't have this tablet anymore so can't check but given I couldn't get video chat on Skype to work, I doubt Oovoo would work on this one. There is a new M009S out though that has a more powerful processor and I believe that version may well deal with video chat.

  • Thanks for video.

  • @Tomas28244 no worries and thanks for the feedback.

  • is that a good tablet? i want to but it but i dont know it is shitty P: i want to know if it is a good thing to buy you know.

    what do you say?

PD:sorry for my bad english im from argentina :D

  • @flautaroo thanks for the question. It's a good quality tablet given the low price point. It's nowhere near as powerful as a tablet along the lines of an iPad, Kindle Fire or other tablets in that league. But, those are at least double or more in price. Overall it's a decent cheap starter tablet but if you want a much better screen/performance you'll need to spend more. Hope this helps.

  • This Tablet is ugly.

  • @TheVladicek thanks for the comment. It's not as stylish as more premium tablets but the price point is the attractive bit. You can't expect high quality at that kind of level.

  • Does anybody know what the name of the USB connector is, I'm looking for a smaller box than the one provided

  • @JWBails thanks for the question. Sorry, I'm not sure what you'd call it - some form of USB connector/adapter?

  • just bought one of these for $85 on dealfind.

  • @patrickd7794 thanks for letting us know. Hope it suits what you're looking for.

  • This is why is comes with a stylus.

  • @minigore100 thanks for the comment. Just to flag up that although it comes with a stylus, it isn't the best quality stylus and so I'd suggest getting a better one if you're intending to use the stylus input a lot.

  • What iam wondering is does the M009G have a HDMI port??? I just ordered one . But not sure if its capable of HDMI?

  • @MrKirkKerkorianCOM thanks for the question. Unfortunately there's no HDMI port on the M009S, I haven't used the M009G though so that may have one. You generally need quite a decent processor for the tablet to deal with HD output and these tablets on the cheaper end can struggle a bit.

  • NATPC A820 now with added Bluetooth - 8" 2.3 Gingerbread - Powerful Android Tablet PC 1.2GHz - Samsung S5PV210 - Compatable with Flash 11.0 - SKYPE free voice calls - BBC iPlayer - Youtube - HDMI output

which is better i need to buy a tablet under 150 pound i really need help

  • @Joeldsnm thanks for the question. Sorry, I haven't tried out the NATPC A820 but looking at the specification, the A820 looks stronger.

  • Does it have a camera ?

  • @Superstarr112 thanks for the question and yes it does have a camera. You can only use if for taking still images though.

  • I want something like this, but just a little bit more... Capacitive screen and quicker processor would do it...even for £150 would love it. Think theres a little gap in the market here.

  • @martinvsb thanks for your comment. I agree there's a big gap in the market. The new Amazon Kindle Fire in the US is filling that gap at broadly the price you mention. Lets hope it comes to the UK soon.

  • nice review, pity about the window reflections tho

  • @soozikins thanks for the comment. Yes, the screen on this tablet gives off a fair bit of reflection. Will work on this for next time.

  • I have this exact tablet i got it for £60 The screen is fast and reacts when you press but if your having trouble buy a pen for it. Youtube videos are high quality and fast. The android market is exceptionally quick . But the memory is limited so i'll advise you to buy a SD memory card. But great for it's price! :D

  • @Enders4thewin thanks for providing a useful summary of your experience with the M009S.

  • did you buy it new from amazon or did u buy it used

  • @Ghanny2 thanks for the question, this one was from Amazon.

  • @tabletpcuk thanks btw i am worried if i buy it from amazon will the app market be in chinese or other language thats not english (is your tablet english).

  • @Ghanny2 no worries, the Android Market app store was all in English on my one as was all the apps on the rest of the tablet. If you buy on Amazon you also have the fall-back option to return it if you're not happy with it.

  • does this tablet have a word processor?

  • @RhysCuenca thanks for the question. You can download a number of apps that perform word processor functions such as Documents 2 Go. These allow you to read, create and edit Microsoft Word documents too.

  • Thanks what clear and informative review i will purchase one now as i was unsure as i had never seen one working. Can you review the nf10 samsung curve netbook. Keep up the good work

  • @KOOJIE4 thanks for your comment and glad the review was of use. Sorry I only review tablets but there's quite a few others on my website at What Tablet PC. You can find the link in the description for this video.

  • can u get on facebook on this

  • @gwhitt2009 YES:d

  • HI there, we have just got tabtech m010s from amazon we get connected to wifi but after a while it disconnects. its keeps disconnecting? Any ideas? Its driving us nuts and we are just about to send it back.

  • @tanyasteele5 thanks for the question. It took a little while (about an hour) for my M009S to settle down and pick up the WiFi but then was pretty consistent. If it continues you can get in touch with the seller via Amazon, they should be able to give you some suggestions on updating the firmware to solve it. Otherwise they should be able to tell you how you can return it for a refund. Hope this helps.

  • try updating the firmware it usually improves the response of the touch screen and speed

  • @xadam2dudex thanks for your help.

  • Thank you for this, my 6yr old daughter wants a ipad but i think i could hold her off with this for a while.

  • @judyandgrace thanks for your comment and no worries, I'm glad the review helped.

  • nice review :)

  • Hey man, uh My android tablet is thesame with yours,7 inch google, 2.2, but my games are slow, so do you know any app that speeds it up???

    Thanks

  • @MegaKillah67 thanks for your question. I don't think there's an app that can speed it up but you can update the firmware to the latest build which will get it running at its optimum. Either contact the manufacturers via Amazon (if you bought from there) for instructions or alternatively you should be able to find an update with a google search for "M009S update". There's a few different sites there that offer instructions. Hope you see an improvement.

  • Wait the skype doesnt work? can you use the camera as a web cam at all? I have a web cam with a usb connector... if i just plug in the camera to this tab can i use it as the webcam and go on skype?

  • @SenoraFlowerLollypop thanks for your question. I'm afraid that's beyond what I've tried. You can't use the Skype app directly with this tablet and to be honest, it has a lower powered processor than premium Android tablets so I think it would struggle to do Skype with a USB web cam. If you want to check, then I'd suggest contacting the manufacturers in advance of buying. Sorry I can't be more help.

  • how many usb slot's has it got??

  • @JAMlEEEE thanks for question. The M009S I got doesn't have a USB port directly on the tablet but came with an adapter that you can plug into it that includes 2 USB ports. It's a bit clunky and cumbersome but works.

  • screen reflection ~ so hard to see , btw nice review :)

  • @nickyreno thanks and glad you found it useful. You're right on the screen reflection and that would influence the questions below too on how good it is as an e-reader.

  • is this good for a ereader - please reply asap because need to know weather to but within 5 days

  • @lazernut117 thanks for asking. I've just replied to the comment below on the same subject so hope this helps. If you're really looking for an e-reader then I'd go for a dedicated one but if you want a tablet for games etc. then this can fulfil an e-reader function but the LCD screen is more straining on the eyes than e-ink screens.

  • @lazernut117 just to add to that point, the screen gives off quite a bit of glare so not good in direct sunlight. An e-ink screen is much better for reading.

  • is this good to use as a e reader? pdfs and so on?

  • @DONJUAN494 thanks for the question. It's ok as an e-reader. You can get the Kindle app for it and other apps to ready pdfs etc. However the screen is an LCD screen so it's not an e-Ink display like you would get on the Amazon Kindle. If you're buying predominantly for reading then a Kindle would be a better option.

  • Is the mo10s any better?

  • @MarkeyLand sorry I haven't tried that one.

  • Very helpful review, I saw all I wanted. Thank you very much for your time and effort!

  • @MrKoshnica no worries and thanks for the feedback.

  • was it worth the money because i'm thinking ok buying one?

  • @spikethedevil666 thanks for the question. It depends what you're looking for. It's good value at around £70 for a cheap tablet but it's no-where near an iPad or similar spec tablet. That said if you're looking for an entry-level tablet then this is about as good as I've seen at this price.

  • Thanks for the info really helped got my tablet now I would say you did a ten outta ten on the reviewing on this product every thing you said was spot on :) thanks

  • @ToxicBioShock no worries, thanks for the feedback and glad the video was useful.

  • What Version of Singularity is that?

im getting Version 5 Final, (when i get this for Christmas)

+ is this good for a Talented with computers+ loves gaming 11 year old boy? (me)

  • @joshsora1232 thanks for the question. I don't see why not. You sound like you know what you're talking about. There's a few caveats with the tablet performance and the screen is not as responsive for gaming as an iPad or premium Android tablet. But if you're looking for a cheap Android tablet then it's good for the price.

  • @tabletpcuk Could it play:

Rayman 2 : The great Escape

    + more 3D games like above ^^^

if Not ill get a better Tablet thing is i have £100 restriction :(

  • @tabletpcuk oh and also Battle Bears, Heavy Gunner 3D, Zombie Village, Worms, Minecraft pocket, Death Worm, Doodle jump, Fruit ninja, and Modern Combat 2 : Black Pegasus? (probably not the last one but worth a try)

  • @joshsora1232 thanks for getting in touch. I think if you're getting into the specifics then it's probably better if you contact the sellers directly as they'll have the latest information. If you head over to Amazon and click on the seller's link then you can ask them directly. The feedback is all pretty positive about them so they should be able to get you better information than me. Hope this helps.

  • You can get a M009G from

  • @josh31121995 sorry, I think the link you provided must have dropped off? I don't think YouTube allows you to link from comments.

  • isnt it tabtronics?

  • @ToxicTurtle101 thanks for questioning this. It was originally Tabtech and there now appears to be an M009S on Amazon for a Tabtronics M009S sold by GoClickit and a NATPC M009S sold by Wendy Lou. It looks like the description for the Tabtech M009S in this review lines up with the NATPC M009S but they've changed the manufacturer name for some reason.

  • @tabletpcuk thanks cos i just ordered one from amazon :) will see how good it is!

  • i bought this on friday, same 1, it has cam, it takes still pictures and also records video.

  • @LaurelandHardy3 Hi and thanks for the update. If yours records video then the tablet must have been updated. If anyone else is looking to buy then check in the description or contact the vendor for the latest features.

  • How is netflix playback on this device?

I know my old laptop would lag on FIOS connections, because netflix would try to play in HD :(

  • @bobdotexe thanks for the question. Sorry I don't live the US so don't have netflix. I tried the BBC iPlayer in the UK and in struggled with that. It's not a particularly high-range processor so I don't assume it has the capability.

  • i got mine at viva gadgets .com its great, you should look at it!

  • @Chiswhiz thanks for the comment and suggestion.

  • @tabletpcuk you should take a look at the site, they don't have a lot of items but they have great service.

  • hi can you make a video about the M009G

  • @josh31121995 thanks for the suggestion. If I can get hold of one then I'll put a video up.

  • Hi I have brought this tablet I'm having problems connecting to my wifi. my connection is very good but it wont pick it up. i have added my bthomehub to the tablet but still nothing any ideas thanks

  • @tracyjenkins1 thanks for your question. Sorry it's probably best to speak to the vendors directly on this. I presume you would have bought via Amazon and the vendor on Amazon seems to be very helpful and quick to respond to questions. It's best to send them an email via the Amazon interface and if you have continuous problems they should help you with returns/refunds.

  • great review. I have a question...Can I connect my flash memory to it? Can I access to picture/videos/docs on my memory and see/play them?

  • @glezchristine Thanks for the question. By flash memory do you mean a microSD card? If so then yes there's a microSD card slot so you can load your pictures/video/docs directly on to the tablet using that. Hope this helps.

  • Sorry if a n00b question... Is it possible to connect with a wired connection (ethernet cable?)

    thx

  • @ugforthewin thanks for the question. There's an adapter that connects to the tablet which has an ethernet port so you can connect a wired connection. Although the adapter is a little cumbersome so it works but just a little clunky to use.

  • @tabletpcuk thanks for answering! Does the adapter come with the tablet in the box?

  • @ugforthewin no worries. Yes the adapter came with my tablet in the box so I assume it's standard. There's the facility to email the vendor directly on Amazon if you want to double check with them before you buy.

  • Have never used android before. Have an iPhone 4. Just wondering how do you connect to your wifi. Was thinking of getting one of these from amazon. Watch a lot of videos and play games just need a bigger screen. Worried I won't know how to connect to my internet. If someone could tell me what to do it would be a great help. Thanks.

  • @traceycrosss thanks for the question. The instructions that come with this tablet cover how to connect to your WiFi, it's pretty similar to your iPhone - you set it up using your WiFi password and it automatically connects. My home WiFi signal is good and at first the tablet seemed to struggle for the first 15 minutes to connect and dropped a few times but once it settled down it seemed to be fine. A warning though that you won't find this device as responsive as your iPhone for games.

  • thanks usefull video

  • @younogotmeno no worries and thanks for the comment.

  • has this got a built in webcam?

  • @LaurelandHardy3 There's a front facing camera but it only takes still images so you can't use it for video chat services such as Skype.

  • Fantastic review, thank you.

  • @wilspin01 No worries and thanks for the support.

  • can you update the operating system

  • @ajdidy I haven't gone down that route personally and if you're planning on updating it to a more recent version of Android then I suspect the processor may struggle with a more resource intensive operating system. If you want to check more specific details, the best option is to contact the seller on Amazon who should be able to answer your questions on what's possible.

  • @tabletpcuk hi i was wondering does it come with like a pen and do u get art programes? with it or do u have to download them?

  • @stubbsie2k11 It comes with a plastic stylus which does the job but don't press too hard with it as it could scratch the screen. More expensive stylus with other tablets would have a soft nib to prevent this. You can download art programmes via the Android Market. The only thing is that as it has a resistive screen, it's not as responsive as the experience you'd get on more expensive tablets such as the iPad. I wouldn't think it would be particularly great for more than very basic drawing.

  • does this workj on bbci player and can u listen to music?

  • @CoolHeal20 the BBC iPlayer works with Flash video which needs a decent strength processor to work smoothly. If you browse to the BBC website, you can access the iPlayer but this tablet really struggled to actually play the video - it stutters and jams up. The YouTube app works relatively well though. You can use the apps provided to listen to music and add your music to the tablet. You'd probably use a MicroSD card to store your music though as the internal memory is limited.

  • @tabletpcuk thanks :)

  • Like in memory of the angry birds that died ;(

  • I have a question hows the screen i mean is it plastic or glass

  • @pspmister thanks for your question, it's a resistive screen which means it has some give in the screen and isn't glass like you'd get on an iPad that has a capacitive screen. Capacitive screens are much more responsive to your finger taps and swipes whereas this one needs a good firm prod.

  • I have a question, is there the android market on there?

  • @Madmanfry99 thanks for the question. Yes Android Market is available directly on the tablet.

  • Great review mate :) just a quick question why cant we use Skype (onboard this tablet) for video chats?

  • Thanks for the question. Sorry, no option to add a SIM card and so no 3G.

  • @tabletpcuk

Not stricktly true. 3g is supported with the ADDON device.

  • supports sim card?

  • Thanks for your comment. There's no camera on the back, just the camera on the front. But it only takes still images.

  • does it have a camra in back

  • Thanks for all the comments, if you want more info then head over to What Tablet PC - full address in the description.

    For the specific requests though,....

You can get it from Amazon.

I used it whilst it was charging and it worked fine.

No bluetooth connectivity from the device I had.

    Hope this helps.

  • does it have bluetooth

  • can you use while charging?

  • where did you buy it from? :)

  • Thanks lot for your comment...

The screen is resistive and not multi-touch. The camera on the front is usable to take pictures but it's a bit strange as you'd just be taking images of you looking at the tablet. It works but won't replace your digital camera anytime soon.

  • FINALLLLLLLY A PROPA REVIEW for dis ting

    blessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

    is it multi touch?

have u taken pics with the front facing camera?
