this sounds more like a panegyric than a prayer. Shame on rick warren for politicizing what is supposed to be a simple prayer! What is he suggesting by the statement that "heaven is cheering" over Obama's political victory? That God is a liberal democrat? This so called prayer is nothing but a bunch of sanctimonious mumb-jumbo spouted by a fat, shamelessly self-promoting pseudo-religious profiteer and spiritual charlatan.

This was a wonderful prayer. He did not compromise. Most of all he proclaimed the name of our Lord and Savior, the one who died on the cross for our sins. The one who made the ultimate sacrifice, the true and living God, the only One God, JESUS!

I know your comment is really old but it is important to realize Warren DID compromise BIG TIME.@ 3:58 he uses the name 'Isa' as a synonym for Jesus.This means that he is putting the Muslim version of Jesus (not one with God, and a Muslim prophet) on par with the true biblical vision of Christ.He commits the president to, and prays in the name of, a 'false Jesus' and as such makes a vile blasphemy of his prayer.

@01sacapuntas : Alot can happen in a year. :-). I listened to the speech again, and I must agree with you. He did Compromise. So, now my brother or sister in the Lord, we must pray for our brother, that he may one day see (if he hadn't already) he's err, as you have shown me mine, so that he may repent.
