i used to play golf with a south african lady member at my country club and she used to say the same thing under her breath lol. quite a good player too at 8 hcp.

a doos is actually a box. like a cardboard box or something like that. thats the proper meaning.
its not used to express displeasure as you say. hes basically calling himself a doos.
