@gymkidxox It really depends on you on where you will start the curls. I prefer it to be just in the bottom half of my hair, because I don't want it starting on top of my head.
wait i understand the whole concept on how to do it...but every time i try to pull the little strand of the cacoon so it can become a curl it ends up getting stuck and i end up having to pull my hair really hard and mess up my curl!!!!!!!!rrrrrrrr
finally!!!!!!!!!!no rollers, socks,or heat involved.......:) about to try it....hope it work!!!!!!!! im so happy im not going to look ridiculous in front of people with socks in my head.....
awesome, me too :) and btw, i tried this, and the curls turned out... horrible. idk why... the beginning was ok... but at the end it flipped up? ew... how do i do this??? ;(
Omygod!! You are my lifesavior!! I tried so many things, like a curling iron and really really bad things that damage my hair really worse but nothing worked, But I tried this and for the first time in my life I have beautiful curls that last the WHOLE day!!! THANK YOU!!!!
@perdybirdie Maybe, you didn't damp your hair? Damping your hair can make your hair more manageable and it provides the cocoons to have grip and not fall off. Also you have to leave hair sticking out so it serves a lock so your cocoons don't untie and also that is the same hair that you are going to pull to release the cocoons.
I really like this hairstyle , my hair is naturaly a very poofy type wavy look and my hair straightened is quite long , i was wondering if i would have to straighten it first and then do this or it would still look long if i do it with my poofy hair ?
Instead of doing the 2 finger thing to the cocoons, I just tied it up with a rubber band, kept it overnight and I took it out today and my hair is more curlier than I ever thought, I love it, thanks for uploading this video
I did this but i kept it on overnight. And i made sure nothing touched it. But then in the mmiddle of the night all of them fell accept for the front 2. and i want to do this for school. WHAT DO I DO?????
@Fluffy15X It really depends on your hair! My hair is naturally straight so even if it's stays 10 hours on my head it'll curl just like that! You can always manage your curls using a serum. :))
@iKiki11 Did you damp your hair? When you coocon your hair make sure that the tip of your hair is sticking out so it does not slip back and eventually making your cocoon fall out. I'll probably do an updated video on how to do this cocoons. Also, I will be answering the questions of other people concerning this :)
so i tried it agai and i wrapped it right this time! sorry for the hatin before:P but this time the curls didnt turn out like this, the were kinda crazy:P what went wrongggggg?
@28selinet It really depends on how you want your curls to look like. If you have naturally straight hair then it would best to let these cocoons stay on your hair longer.
@HERSHYLater I'm not so sure what you mean. Do you mean spray it with water or with hairspray? You have to spray your hair with water to damp your hair so it the curls are going to stay longer.
@mayasbeauty If you cocooned it the right way, you will never have knots on your hair. That's the purpose of the excess hair that supposedly has to stick out from the cocoons. It is meant to untie your cocoons without tangling your hair!
@223peacepop It will last until the next day! :) To some I heard even on the third day. It depends on your hair type though. Me and my sister have naturally straight hair and it lasted even on the second day.
@Nr1CandCshow Thank you, someone showed me and told me about this, but it never worked on my hair until I did a little experiment on the cocoons and cocooned it right so it turned out like this. :))
@talkingtom2vlog It'll probably work, but it's going to be quite challenging. You can look at my other no heat curls and waves. You can either use sponge rollers or bendy rollers, or either pin-up your hair to create loose waves. :))
@mrscandycane201 Well just simply make the cocoon a little bit higher. It's hard to explain it. I will probably show a how to on short hair soon when I make another updated video on this.
@whitneychenaxoxo Yes, but the thing is you have to make sure that you hair or your cocoons are completely dry when you take them down, or else the curls are not going to stay long. Just make sure that the cocoons are completely dry before you untie it!
@whitneychenaxoxo Yes, I've tried it on my mom's hair and her hair is about on her shoulders and it did work. Try sectioning your hair if you have layers.
@Bubblitiouz When you sleep with these, put on a shower cap so they will all stay in place in the morning! That's what I do sometimes if I plan to leave them overnight! So that the cocoons won't move during the night.
@IFunny5304 Yep, that's why I put an option there on the annotation. If the twisting part causes your cocoons to fall off/or if you want spiral-ish curls then skip the twisting part.
My hair usually never curls, it just goes back straight in 10 minutes. But I tried this method and it stayed curly the whole day!!! Everyone asked me how I did this :D LUV IT!!!
I CANT DO THE CACOON.........!!! :(
