He had a real unique sound, it was always sexy and there was this slow burning, seething passion underlying it all. jodeci became a reality when jojo hooked up with devante, dude already has written tons of hit songs all by himself! diary of a mad band cd wasnt even a new cd when it came out it was a continuation further selected 4rm his already written old songs. kc & jojo came to sing which they do very well but the jodeci sound that we get notalgic about is devante

He had a real unique sound, it was always sexy and there was this slow burning, seething passion underlying it all. I think that expression of genuine passion that he did so well is missing from R&B now. That's why he need to get his ass in order and put these folks out now to shame.

Seriously, all of the people on here getting pissed because of Devante's drunken stupor need to get out of denial. This is not the first incident of him being publicly drunk or high. He is an addict and the fact that you're in denial says a lot of about your own sense of reality. This is not speaking ill of the brotha, just keeping it real and stating it like it is. Instead of making fun how about praying for these guys. I love JODECI, my favorite group of all time and yes they made VERY BAD choices but hey they human. I am hoping and praying they get clean before the drugs and alcohol kill them. Unsure know why Devante at least wasn't ask to be on the come clean reality show because he clearly need it.
