yea its called RCAs and they plug in the audio jacks on the back of EVERY cd player. Then ran under carpet to the amp to send your audio signal. Always use Triple shielded to minimize road noise.

Moron thier not warping. Its the camera. This was a digital camera not meant for videos as it cant pick up fast movements. And warping comes mainly from overpowering which then turns into creasing

@1kickass "underpowering" your speakers/subwoofers causes NOTHING but lower sound level. Wtf is it with people saying "underpowering your subs will blow them" and now your yappin about it causing warping. Neither of which are true in any aspect. I suppose if you buy an amp that cant full power a subwoofer and you overdrive the amp into clipping that could possibly blow the subwoofer, but more than likely the amp will blow first. Thats about it.

well im now runnign 4 of the 5500s with 2 db drive 1000.1 amps. just installed a 300amp alternator with red top batteries. with the subs amps wires box and all im at 2000 as i did the labor my self. prolly be double if you paid a shop to do it.

i got 2 12" mtxs and i love them most subs are goin to sound about the same size and box type makes a bigger difference unless your doin compotion stuff then the type of subs makes a lil more difference if you just want to bump around town it doesn't really mater

the Ohms depend on the subs and amp. if they can handled it then wire to 1 ohm. all 1ohm does is allow the amp to out put more power if the car can handle it.

all dual 4 ohm subs will run at 1 ohms but dont over push them. to make 4 ohm subs 1 ohm you need to wire the coils ++ -- then +- to the amp for each sub. and youl lget 1 ohm

seems like im pushing them hard but remember MTx jsut like Jl audio are under rated. i always live by this method to figure out the max power subs can handle. never blew a sub once. This is my forumla. RMS+MAX POWER/2

FOR MY SUBS THIER 300+600=900/2=450RMS MAX AND THIER GETTIN 350 RIGHT NOW WHICH ISNT MUCH AT ALL.

Dont worry subs can take it no problem and the 1 ohm is hurtin me on the battery side so i added 2 caps which helped increase by 1 volt. and im installing yellow top battery.
