Bought mine new in 2004. from Guitar Center in Canton Mi. for $1483.00 but it was on the lay away program. I have one Issue with the guitar, and that is the finish doesn't hold up as well as the fully lacquer and cleared guitars. It wears through EASY. Installed a Sh-1 and a Sh-13 Dimebucker in the bridge Duncan's of course, I did that the same week I picked it up.
anyone know how much a voodoo cost when it first came out... i know it was discontinued in 2005 but i'm looking to buy a used one because it is a badass guitar
I don't think he's trying to show his riffs but more importantly the quiaility of the guitar not the amp and he has sum of his solo videos but it's gonna take years fliping thru 400 sumthing videos
This guy has some chops and all, but hey, We want to hear the GUITARS man! not some overdrive/distortion pedal or fuzzy, saturated sound that is the same all the time. Let the character of the instrument shine trough..
he is testing the guitar to show you how it plays. If it sounds the same then maybe all the gibson guitars he has played sound the same. again he is playing the same things so you can compare.

how is it possible that every guitar he puts his hands on almost sounds exactly the same*
Hwarrang123 3 years ago
Maybe it's the amp
BERNER91 3 years ago
I dont think so because even when he demoes different amps it sounds the same, it must be his settings, idk
Kaelan66 3 years ago
Yea i watched a few more of his videos and most guitars he reviews sound the same, not sure why. I have 3 guitars and they all sound different.
BERNER91 3 years ago
He probally uses same equipment and he usually plays the same stuff
LordOfThisWorld74 3 years ago
yea me too
Kaelan66 3 years ago
Its the amp. Guitars with similar pickup setups usually sound the same, IE humbuckers, single coils.

I agree

Hwarrang123 3 years ago
He picks so fucking hard on the clean setting all you get is a slap sound.

1. That's some interesting original licks.
2. I'm waiting to see when you put it to original songs.
