The yanks (not that they know it) have about 40% of their shows re branded or named the same with Americans, some do fairly well, some bomb.  You just can't take a good Brit comedy and make it American, The Office worked and Dancing with the Stars is a number 1 here. But most fall flat. There was a great Australian hit Kath and Kim, it didn't make one season.
