I remember taking a shot of the "abandoned" lol float by the roadside...they must have finally decided to tackle the remainder of the parade route on foot in keeping with the essence of the affair :-)

Quite common among elementary schools here. This one was a fund-raiser to boot :-)
These parades are common even in Greece ( without the king and the queen ) but in Italy nothing to do....LOL
