That cop was on some tv show also as a cop - I think it was The Shield - and I could never look at the guy without thinking of this scene.

I remember watching this at a friend's house when the dvd first came out. He happened to be out of the room during this scene. That long pause before the shot felt like it lasted 2 or 3 times as long as it did. When my friend got back in the room he noticed I was in a very wow....wow....wow....spacy state. Great work on that scene. It stayed with me for days.
