Rex Murphy is from Freshwater, Placentia Bay, and I'll never forget the time he shared a bus with my grandmother and I, and asked my nan for a cigarette. My nan didn't smoke, but Rex obviously didn't know this!

Anyway, other than assuming old ladies in Newfoundland smoked (bad assumption), Rex was a cool guy, I guess - went to school with my dad!
