I thought it was because he just didn't bother to videotape when he went out on dates. Whenever he is getting ready to have lunch, dinner or go to the movies someone be it a friend, relative or someone he just met, he tends to put the camera away at least as far as I can see from his earlier diary videos.

Hey Danny, I've followed you since sxephil pimped the gradual report way back when. There have been times when I've been legitimately excited to check your diary, like the road trip and the times you went out and did crazy things. I think the nature of the situation is that everyone has boring days and falls into routines. I don't blame you for quitting. It's a huge time commitment on your part.

I think you should start doing it again because you definitely have what it takes to entertain your audience. Just take example from CharlesTrippy he's got the vlog mastered, always interacting with the audience, posting links to previous diaries in the video w/ commentaries, links in the sidebar along with some info and keywords, usually around 10min and catchy titles.
You shouldn't blame other YouTubers for copying the vlog idea, if you kept up the diary like you did in the first 3 months your subscribers and views would grow.
You should have continued the diary, but you kinda screwed shit up by posting videos late and in low quality plus making people pay and go to your website to watch earlier. In the first 3-4 months the diary was really bad ass and I loved watching it.

I see your point and agree with you to a certain extent on celebrities, however I do appreciate the fact that people take the time to share a part of themselves through their diaries on the internet because it's not something they have to do and they could have kept everything to themselves and not bothered to share anything of themselves with anybody.
I guess I have a totally different outlook on this. I think it has to do more with a "look at me, look at me" attitude a lot of people seem to have. Thank you reality tv for that. If you could go back in time, is there any one moment or decision in your life that you would change? Why?
Your diaries were great, btw. Maybe if they had more appealing titles more new viewers would be drawn to watch them. Plain dates (ie. Dec 31) don't exactly scream, "I'm funny and interesting, watch me!". I watch all of them regardless.. it's just a thought.

I thought it was because he just didn't bother to videotape when he went out on dates. Whenever he is getting ready to have lunch, dinner or go to the movies someone be it a friend, relative or someone he just met, he tends to put the camera away at least as far as I can see from his earlier diary videos.

Danny, how did you manage to become so informative and profound in your gradual report videos? I laugh all the time at them...especially the one with you wrangling the chair and milking it. At the end of your videos' you come to a conclusion...an unbiased and truthful conclusion and I've started taking them to heart. I wonder where you have gained this insight. Was it learned? is it attributed to your intelligence or to horrible childhood, or a combination of both? Keep up the good work !

Hey Danny, I've followed you since sxephil pimped the gradual report way back when. There have been times when I've been legitimately excited to check your diary, like the road trip and the times you went out and did crazy things. I think the nature of the situation is that everyone has boring days and falls into routines. I don't blame you for quitting. It's a huge time commitment on your part.
Questions: How much does youtube pay you? Is there some kind of formula for that?

How was not taking the house building job a good idea? This path seems to suck, and at the least the house job would get you money. With that money you can afford classes, with no job you can take a lot of classes.

Danny I'd really like to ask what your aspirations are, what you want to be in detail, I know already that you aim to be a comedian, you graduated from UCLA in Law, but what I really want to know, is where exactly do you see yourself in the foreseeable future. I think you should start doing it again because you definitely have what it takes to entertain your audience. Just take example from CharlesTrippy he's got the vlog mastered, always interacting with the audience, posting links to previous diaries in the video w/ commentaries, links in the sidebar along with some info and keywords, usually around 10min and catchy titles.

You shouldn't blame other YouTubers for copying the vlog idea, if you kept up the diary like you did in the first 3 months your subscribers and views would grow.

You should have continued the diary, but you kinda screwed shit up by posting videos late and in low quality plus making people pay and go to your website to watch earlier. In the first 3-4 months the diary was really bad ass and I loved watching it.

Yes, but at one time earlier during the year, he practically demanded that people pay $1 a month or he would not allow them to see the videos. This is probably what FTMvideos and lordprobe are referring to.

But if Danny didn't do it,,,someone else would. I never sang the praises of any actor or celebrity, I think for the most part they are a total waste of space. Way over paid and given to bouts of "I'm better then everyone else because I do shit". Nothing to admire there, now if they take what they have and do good things with that. Well that's a different story. Like I said before, I think he's funny. I rate, occasionally comment and I laugh. What more could he possibly expect?

I see your point and agree with you to a certain extent on celebrities, however I do appreciate the fact that people take the time to share a part of themselves through their diaries on the internet because it's not something they have to do and they could have kept everything to themselves and not bothered to share anything of themselves with anybody.

I guess I have a totally different outlook on this. I think it has to do more with a "look at me, look at me" attitude a lot of people seem to have. Thank you reality tv for that. I think people crave the attention and want fame. Some people have a talent for comedy, like Danny. But this is just entertainment and it shouldn't be elevated to a level it is not. We are a country of consumers and idol worshippers.
I appreciate his humor,,that's why I subbed,,that's why I rate.

Point taken but I watch his OTHER channels for entertainment. I come to this channel to get a better sense of who he is as a person. I don't expect him to be funny all the time and I'd rather he just be himself, however unfunny and unentertaining that may be from time to time. Now, I would never suggest that I know him just from watching the videos but at least I learned things about him that I would have never learned just from watching his GradualReports or other channels.

If YOU did a video diary on the internet, I would probably watch and appreciate it especially if I found it of reasonable quality because I'd see it as your attempt to share something of yourself with others over the internet and it is not always so easy to do especially if you are going through a hard time in your life.

I love your work...you make me laugh. Sometimes I worry about your mental state though! I can't thank you enough for making me forget about the "poopy, poopy" world if just for 3 minutes at a time. Maybe you should get back to the classics like "Creative or Die" (my all time favorite). People seem to really like those. And they are really good, you have several Gradual Reports that made me look at things differently. I am a better person for having viewed your shows. Keep up the great work.
