I'm from Bosnia myself and I can say that both Bosnians and Bosniaks are correct.
Historically, Bosnians and Bosniaks have the same meaning but these days because of political reasons that isn't exactly the case.
In the media, the term Bosnians is much more common than Bosniaks so maybe that's why it sounded a bit weird for some people.
You can compare Bosnian and Bosniak to Spanish and Spaniard, basically the meaning is the same but the words are a little bit different.

9/11 did & will affect Everything we do for a very long time. Homeland Security costs alot of money. But if an attack happened again it would be more costly.
Our economy has been frail since end of 2000 but Bush did a fair job balancing it all in spite of the Liberals trying to sabotage everything he did in order to win elections & get a majority.
He did an ok job from Jan 2001 til Jan 2007 when Liberals took a majority. SINCE than DISASTER. Food & gas prices thru the roof & now a CRISIS.

You also assume that all 96.5% (if thats an actual fact) of those votes went to Democratic bills that had no bi partisanship. The fundamental difference is, McCain didn't vote 90% with his party, but 90% with a president that now has a 20% or so, approval rating. Doesn't that suggest that McCain's thinking is very similar and strongly along the lines of President Bush? so it would almost be like voting for Cheney if he were running?

McCain voted with a president with about 30% aproval rating right now and a President that had the HIGHEST EVER Recorded Aproval rating of 92%.
Obama voted 96.5% of the time with Liberals and a Congress that has 9% approval rating probably the worst ever recorded.

McCain was born on a military installation in the Panama Canal Zone. McCain's citizenship was established by statutes covering the offspring of Americans abroad and laws specific to the Canal Zone as Congress realized that Americans would be living and working in the area for extended periods. He is as American as Obama is. YOU may want to look up the facts first before posting.

Hillary is a great example of what all political candidates should aspire for. Not because of her gender but because of her competency. If you are voting for Palin solely based on gender when there is such deep and far reaching lack competency, you are being a hypocrite. The American Heritage Dictionary defines it correctly as "A member of a people descended from Slavs from Bosnia who converted to Islam during the period of Ottoman rule." The Bosniaks are the Bosnian Muslims, as opposed to the Bosnian Serbs or Bosnian Croats. Biden knows his geography and he knows foreign policy. Cokie Roberts is wrong to criticize him for using this word.
