Not only does he jump the gun on shots but he has horrible chemistry with the other commentator and quite honestly sounds socially retarted or is just a flat out @sshole.

basically the cue ball hits the 1, the energy on the 1 transfer to the 7 and was stopped. now the rest of the energy hits the 1 ball once again which gives the angle to pocket.

alex didn't want to pocket it duh.

it's not the way it works... all the energy from the 1 ball was transferred to the 7, but the draw on the cue ball gave the 1 ball a bit of top spin, sending it towards the pocket.
