  • No masinist is Italy men :)

  • The analog 2nd speedometer is standby, right? Or broken :D

  • @Benedettini93

It's not broken. While entering on the high speed lines, the analog speedometer turns off because it's replaced by the digital speedometer on the DMI (Driver Machine Interface) monitor that you can see working in this video. That's the way that the european ERTMS controlling-signalling system works. Exiting the high speed lines and entering the traditional lines, the digital speedometer turns off and the analog speedometer comes back to work ;)

  • is being in the cabine filming legal

  • And the machinists are from Bulgaria ;)

  • @rBcAftershock you a serios bro?

  • @IMYVaKE

Yes, they're speaking in bulgarian ;)

  • @rBcAftershock да есть немного) но говорит не машинист.

  • @IMYVaKE

може би си прав, моя грешка ;)

  • The Crew was all Alstom?

  • 2:43 PM Tora - Piccilli Km 158.159

  • I love how the guy behind the camera is talking in Bulgarian :)

  • Not Eurostar. Windscreen too wide and the wiper configuration is not like that.

  • @sdfg88

The correct commercial name was "Eurostar Italia", this is the high speed service in Italy. Today it is renamed "Frecciarossa" (up to 300 km/h) and "Frecciargento" (up to 250 km/h).

The train in this video is ETR500, commercially under the Frecciarossa service.

  • Friend we have Italian Trams and Trains in Sweden and the cant coop whit the winter here. we have to buy swedish or finnish built Trams and trains to make it work.. So no thoes countries make trains/trams for European conditions. And they are not the best of their kind. go down to -5 to -25 c and windy conditions and they brake down believe me..

  • @xirux01 We have trams built in Itally by Breda and they are always breaking down. The generation of trams prior to the Breda stock were built by Togo in Japan and they are excellent.

  • Hello , Sory if I was understood wrongly.I mean That ALSTOM make this journey possible whit permission and invitation to be in Locomotive of this train and make film! I am not mean that , this train is made entirely from Alstom! I am know that ETR500 is Italy made! I am just thankful to Alstom for this incredible traveling whit 320km/h in yours line Rome-Naples . OK

  • @LZ2RBB

I didn't understand, thank you for your explanation :)

Anyway, if I'm not wrong Alstom was partner in the project of ERTMS signaling system on this high speed line. That's probably the reason why Alstom organized this travel

  • Yes this You are right! The Alstom was invite us to see ERTMS and GSM-R system at work on train. We want to build this system like you in our country.

  • VERY SILENCE TRAIN!!!

  • That train wouldn´t hit 300 km/h in sweden maybe 180km/h. to many turns here in sweden. it seems like the eurostar and the tgv need special made tracks to hit 300 - 400 km/h. sadley that doesn´t exist in sweden, that´s why we have x2000. it can coop whit all the turns in high speeds.

  • exctl, italy like france, germany uk,the netherland and belgium have special lines for the high speed trains where can rich the 350km/h.

  • Yes i know, Sweden is diffrent from thoes countries. We cant build Special Tracks where ever we want. the countryside is sometimes. to problematic and difficult to build a straight line of tracks that is needed for Tgv and thoes kinds of trains. In sweden it´s a lot of very angled turns and hight diffrences.( I just inform you why we cant have the Tgv - no critisism to you´re ansere). it wouldn´t reach180km/h during the tripp.

  • @xirux01

This is the high speed line Rome-Naples in Italy, not a french Tgv line :)

The train is the ETR500, commercially called "Frecciarossa".

Even in Italy there have been many difficulties to build the new high speed lines, we have a lot of hills and mountains, so the new lines needed a lot of galleries.

  • (FrecciaRossa) ETR 500 produced in Italy consortium TREVI, this train and 100% Italian, not from France

  • браво за чудесната работа

  • if u like the eurostar, log on to my channel KamInkorporate and watch my close up of it passing through Ashford Retail Park - its !!!!AMAZING!!!!

  • Great video, if you like I have some other videos about this high speed line (Rome-Naples) in my profile... bye :)

  • chrisverpl1980 you are wrong VERY and deeply vrong!!! Euro tunel is great achievement big deal for all of the European people win of human against nature.

I made this clip in high speed trace betwen Naples and Roma . It was ABSOLUTE great, exited and cool. Thans for Alstom !!!!

  • @LZ2RBB

Indeed I must confirm what someone else told here: this train is not by Alstom, this train was projected and built in Italy by a consortium called "TRE.V.I."(which stands for "Treno Veloce Italiano" or "Italian high speed train").

This consortium included the following italian industries: Ansaldo,Breda,Fiat Ferroviaria(now owned by Alstom but it was still italian when this train was built), Firema,ABB.

The name of this train is "ETR500", commercially "Frecciarossa"

  • @LZ2RBB Travelling through the tunnel is boring. The ferry is lots of fun and you can see all kinds of neat stuff. I'm in the USA.

  • @LZ2RBB we aren't supposed to go against it, otherwise we'll get crushed

  • the ferry is uberslow :D

  • @chrisverpl1980 I do agree whit this person. why choice the inconfortable alternative. be squessed in to a train for three hours. when you can injoy a dinner and get some fresh sea air. think about it. it´s not a choice - the ferry wins!

  • Plenty of tunnels!
