Negotiations used to be much better in older FMs. I just cant get used on this new one, everything seems to be more simplified and with less options.

When i click on reset changes and set the squad status and contract length, i'm unable to click suggest terms without putting in the wage and bonuses!

@darklobodraciel1101 I have the same problem. It says that the board do not agree with the terms so you can't submit the deal. Anyone have any idea why?

This won't work all time; in fact, most of the time it won't because agents have differrent patient stats and many players throw a tantrum and refuse to deal. What you can do to salvage the situation however, is delay contract talks until they get desperate and will demand less.

Yeah, I do this all the time! Set all the values down to £1, suggest the terms and the player will come back with the lowest possible wage he'll accept. But pay attention to the agent's 'patience' stat, if it's like less than 5, chances are that after a few (or even one) round(s) of talks, he'll break off negotiations.

I also have a lets play series and I need some feedback. Check them out a comment from the "Football Manager Master" would make Easter. Also, if you make a mistake when negotiating with a new signing and accidentally offer him too much, request a scout report. This will make him seem to forget all previous negotiations.
