His last championship game signified what his whole career was about. He made the defensive play to steal the ball from Malone on the defensive end and then didn't even think about passing the ball...he came down and hit the game winning shot. Russell dominated on the defensive end. Kareem/Wilt on the offensive ends of the court. MJ..both ends of the court!

I hear what people are saying, and no doubt Jordan is a great talent, but at the end of the day, the record speaks for itself. Jordan took 7 years to learn how to PASS the ball and get his teammates involved. Had he learned that lesson earlier, I am sure the championships would have also came earlier. Yet when I learned the game with maturity, and began to see that Magic was the ultimate in team play for a team game, and THAT is why and how he could gain an NBA championship his FIRST year out of college, and Jordan (who did not pass the ball well) took 7 years to get his first championship. Sorry, Jordan has to be #2 to Magic.

MJ's always beaten down on Bird even in MJ's younger years, MJ has a winning record against Bird and the Celtics. The late 80s and early 90s were easily the toughest defensive era of all time, yet MJ put up historical numbers every year. There were tons of a competition in the 90s, thats why the top 50 players of all time are stacked with players from the 90s.
