Oprah Winfrey i need you help , the world needs your help .
Kindly go through the attached video and see if what i am offering the world is to be neglected, i believe in you Oprah and the world believes in you & your voice.
I am a college prof and I show this to all my students...about the importance of emotion, realism and meaning behind any speech. I cannot tell you how many kids cry when they watch this.
As I get older I believe in leaving a legacy. You never know what could happen in life. I got into an accident recently and cried like a baby thinking of my family and realizing anything could happen. I had no control over the situation. Randy had 3-5 months to live.I am amazed at his fortitude.
This guy is my role model. Even though this is your most watched video, you didn't put AdSense on, and I'm glad of you for that. Randy Pausch will be missed.
I watched my father die of cancer. I've known others who have died from it but I wasn't there in their last moments, but still saw how it aged and wasted them. This man is INCREDIBLY brave to face it head on, accept it, and not just survive a little longer, but to LIVE until he couldn't anymore. My deepest respect to you Dr Pausch for inspiring us and setting this magnificent example.
I am trying to watch the last 2 links under "Dr. Pausch's final fight to get the message out about his disease:" and I get the message " this video is private". is it a message i get (is something wrong with my computer or is it??).
I am really inspired by these videos, it puts you in perspective on your life which i take for granted...
Thnk you "Randy" and I believe everyone that gets your message aggrees - you are an inspiration....
This is inspirational.! made me realize how precious life is .! God bless the professor's family with great love and everything they need to lead a life happily.!
At some point I lost sight of my childhood dreams. This was very inspirational and not just because he was dying. Thank you Mr. Randy Pausch for opening my mind to everything I once dreamed about.
Definitely a great man, but i wouldn't say its jaw dropping inspiring. It is just one of those videos which make you feel hyper-real, a very americanized way to put it.
Its amusing to see humanity still needs talks on 'how to live', when our civilization is over thousands of years old.

Its amusing to see humanity still needs talks on 'how to live', when our civilization is over thousands of years old.
I've seen it many times, every time I'm on the verge of being in tears. It's already been two years since he died, and now like the great man he was, Randy Pausch is still inspiring people many months after his passing. And he'll inspire many many people beyond that!
The most inspiring thing was that the things he could control he would work hard to improve, and that the things he couldn't control he accepted and continued to work onward anyway...plus he dedicated all of this to his kids. RIP
A friend sent me the link to this and I've only just watched it. I didn't know how long ago it took place and when I read the description afterwards I sat in horror when I saw he'd died in 2008. Makes me cry every time. Very very true, all of it. Hopefully people will incorporate the things he says into their lives instead of just forgetting about this video after a couple of minutes.
