I'm tired of people complaining about this album sucking. This album is amazing. Just because it's not the same thing they used to do doesn't mean this album isn't good. They went in a different direction and I say bravo. I can't get enough of this album. Erak is one of my favorite musicians and if you people were true fans, then you would accept their decision to try something new.

And the reason why people hate on this is not just because of the direction of the music but because of Erak's attitude in the making of this album and how he let the support of his fans and fame go to his head to write how he did on this record. I will always love and support this band BUT This album was not them. Now i wasn't expecting another Doppelganger i think that'd be a stupid direction. It was too much studio. One of the best things about their old stuff was how raw it was, that gives the vibe of a real sound. I do still like this new stuff but they could've taken a different approach

Frank feels detached, and Erak sounds as if he is trying way too much, which i probably recognize as being his thing in acoustics as i witnessed it on other videos. You know what, yes, I would have absolutely loved if they kept making albums just like Doppleganger. That's why I fell in love with TFOT. Manipulator was different (more structured) but they didn't lose their absolute craziness. Crazy riffs and vocals graced Manipulator but ITUE, although not selling out exactly, was pop music for the most part. They put in "Empty the Clip......" and left out "The Vomiting Winter?" Wahh!? I enjoyed this new album, but it took awhile to digest.

True, but his singing has certainly gotten better over the years. Problem with him is that he seems to take risks with his voice. Like, He tries to hit notes that his voice really can't handle. On the other hand, if you compare this latest album unlikely event to maybe..doppelganger, you'll notice a significant improvement. It's just gotten more...I guess...distinguished. Even so, its not incredible. But i appreciate him for his guitar and screaming talent as you do mate.
