can anybody guess pickup and amp settings on the big three killed my baby? i really want to get their first album sound.

It really comes from his amp. It makes most of his sound, followed by his big muff (not used so much on the first album) and his digitech whammy,( also not used too much.) He uses a Sears Silvertone from the mid 1960s. His model is a twin twelve 1484, but any of the 1480's will give you that sound. They are relativly cheap now a days, and can be found for 250-400 bucks. The sound is amazing, i love mine.
