  • Even though personally I like Debbie Reynolds' version better, Connie does nicely too. The choral background isn't my fave, but ...

  • What kind of a rat bastard would play a song like this at a time like now.

  • IF ELVIS WAS KING, SHE WAS QUEEEN. A GREAT VERSION

  • @ELVIS4221 Totally agreed.

  • I think I just fell in love with Connie all over again......thanks - beautiful rendition.......

  • While I like Debbie's version, Connie's subtle intonations make this version my favorite.

  • @Shrinksjp I TOTALLY AGREE

  • Hello Shrinksjp: I agree absolutely, Connie Francis is simply wonderful. Great backup too.

  • I can get you a toe by 3 o'clock

  • Linda!

  • This is for my mama, she introduced me to the classic songs when I was young and that includes Connie Francis' songs among others.. She used to tell me when she was young her friends used to call her "Tammy" from the song. Love you mama, see you soon can't wait to have you here. :)

  • What a beautiful rendition of a truly beautiful song. I love the Debbie Reynolds version too.

  • @MrGrandad4 What makess this version so superb is Connie's subtle intonations, especially the line including violins sing.

  • I can't find this version anywhere :(

  • A sweet, gentle song....it feels like falling in love for the first time...

  • I saw the movie in the 60's by Debbie Reynolds. A beautiful love movie. They don't make them anymore. I think this is what is wrong with the young generations now. No more falling in love before making love. You people only live for today and that's why you can't stay together. Take a page out of your parent's book and you might learn something. K.J. Edmonton.

  • One of my favorites from the Never On Sunday LP.

  • it's been decades since the last time I heard this song... So wonderful.

  • Now I found 'Tammy'!

  • One of the best renditions of "Tammy" ever!

  • WOW! Love Connie's version so much.

  • @skylersdad100 yes... and I STILL love connie (although I have never met her in person)

  • Very nice!
