  • I recently, changed heads on a bathing beauty, the body was tanned and the head was not and the color was starkly different. Can u do a tutorial on how to balance the two???

  • RATHAHONNI

Usually the best thing to do is to use curves adjustment layers to just one of the two parts you want to match (lets say the head you cut out, place the adjustment layers above the head and make sure you select "clipping mask")

-Start adjusting the curve with just black and white to match the luminance of the face with the rest of the body.

-Then start adjusting each RGB (or better CYMK) curve

-Usually you need to decrease the blue/cyan

-You may need a Hue/Saturation as well

    Cheers!

  • I am new to photoshop and don't know whether this happens to everyone but my curser icon seems to become stuck on the "hand tool" after a while and refuses to let me uses any of the other tools.

    All help will be appreciated.

  • I'm having the same problem right now. What's going on, plese help.

  • turns out all you have to do is hit the space bar when it happens... otherwise re-instal

  • I had this issue also, i read it was related to there not being enough memory, but don't know for certain if this is the case.

I resolved it by restarting Photoshop.

  • how can i make some ones skin porclein white? please do reply.

  • Well there is a way to do this. I'm making tutorials myself too, but didn't upload them to youtube yet. When you're on your backgroundlayer, make a new transparant layer. Turn the blending mode to Soft Light. Get a brush, with the 'porclein white' color. Change blending mode of the Brush also to Soft Light. Start brushing the face, and after that, change the opacity of the layer. You'll see, it's some kind of virtual make-up.

  • You are awesome at making your tutorials. They help me sooooo much:)

  • i love how you explain things well .

other photoshop tutorials didnt explain things fully . i also love yer accent :)

  • HEY(:

  • Oh and thank you for not having a creepy voice!

  • I like your tutorial. It's 'meaty' full of background information.I appreciate the way you explain a tool before launching into clicks. It gives one time to adjust to why one is using it and it's function. With many tutorials I appreciate slower pace of speech at crucial points. But not enough to nod off!!

  • Great tutorial, thank you =)

  • Thanks a lot for all your Tutorials they are great keep them coming.

  • Thanx Alot Man

  • how do you take out a sunburn from someone's face? I tried the brushes & changing the colour of the skin, but it doesn't look natual. Can anyone help?

  • opening very slow..

  • How would I make skin paler using the first method?

  • Oh, let me guess... vampire skin sort of paler? ;) Wait for Halloween, I have a couple of tuts coming up dealing with such special skin effects.

  • Haha, how'd you know?

Okay, I'll be waiting. Thanks. :)

  • ur da best of da best..i subscribed i enjoy u tutorials they r really helpful..

  • it's nice for this close up, so what happens if I want to do this same thing to a picture with a hole body or half body without altering the rest of the image, let's say the shirt, or the background? I know you can get it around, but my point is that this method works only with close ups.

  • Make a selection of the areas to be changed and apply a layer mask. That way you can fine tune any alterations or areas that you don't want effected.

  • you talk about getting a good selection . . but how is this done? sorry for bothering you, your tutorials are out of this world they reall are.

  • These tuts are great!

  • These tuts are great!

  • I really enjoy your tutorials, there are a lot of them on Youtube but not this good. A great thing is that you don't talk to much - a very common mistake. Great work!
