Oh boy, do I sure agree with these guys! I lived there during this change and saw it happen and it was awful! The old style Vegas was much better before Howard Hughes screwed everything up!

So true! Those were great days. Vegas really changed. I remember seeing the International Hilton going up and it looked so monstrously huge. Vegas was a small town and everyone knew everyone else. Great musicians and acts congregated in Nevada. This is vital history. Thanks for this posting.
