The fact is, the US and Colombia both are democratic allies trying to do the best for their countries, it's important for Colombia to rid itself of the FARC and their drug trafficking and it helps keep the cocaine out of the US. Study what's really going on in Colombia and you'll see how murder rates have dropped by 80% and is better than the US in many areas. 99% of the people want the best for the country but it's the ignorant who halt progression.
