Make sure when you type in 12345 you type it in slowly. it didnt work for me until i tried typing in 12345 really slowly. hope this helps!

1>remove sim card

2>to enter the code, keep pressing "#" to get the symbol and letters " #pw+"

3>at the end of entering the code, press "#"

4>insert sim, enter security code "12345" :-) you will be ready to go

Sorry to say it, but by the time it says "Not Allowed" you're screwed. The phone itself records how many times that you entered a wrong unlock code and after 5 wrong codes it won't allow it (also called a 'hard lock') and you'll have to bring it to an unlocking service that has a debugger's cable.
