Drummers are magic. It takes magical power to play drums, even mediocre drummers possess this power...At least that's my conclusion.

I'm a guitar player and guitar always made sense to me --- but when I sat down behind a drum kit, I sounded like a 10 week old infant just learning to move his arms in a weak and mindless flapping motion... My drumming is so weak that I make Karen Carpenter look like Bozzio! I love this Drum Channel!

Karen Carpenter is a really good drummer.... she's a badass, for real. Better than ALOT of drummers!

@ReinhardtHendrix Cool comment. And I found the Karen Carpenter comparison really funny, but just felt obliged to say that although the Carpenters music was kind of bland, Karen's skills as a drummer really weren't, even Buddy Rich said she was good, and he did not add "for a girl" at the end either. Praise like that from one of the greatest drummers of all time must surely mean something... Anyway, I'm glad drummers inspire you. I feel the same thing about guitarists a lot of the time.
