Sorry bud but if you pass anybody on this bike they are not an "advanced rider". Im not trying to bash on anyones bike.. Ride whatever makes you happy. I just think your Idea of an "advanced rider" Is a little skewed. Look up a mongoose Boot'R or Pinn'r theres a 4 thousand dollar difference in price for a reason.
@nal146able I know this bike is not for advanced riders but at the time i didnt have the kind of money needed for a nicer bike so i got this one instead and it will do the job untill i have enough money to buy a real bike.

I just got into MT Biking and Downhilling and I bought this bike to
start. I bought this bike in April of this year and it has not failed me!
the only thing I had to change was the rear break pads. I take it to Peters Canyon and around Irvine lake, I beat the crap out of it and still comes through! I pass "advance" riders with pro bikes like nothing, and downhill at full force. I love it!
@jesseyeahdude I got this bike for the same price and from walmart as well and i completely agree with you, i am able to keep up with other riders no problem. The only thing i had to change was the brakes also but after that the bike was as good as could be and i wouldnt trade it for another bike.
I feel sad for the real mongoose company which is making expencive good mtb bikes instead of this cheap crap.....Look at the fork, wich brand is the fork? oh my god, please give it away to a kid.....
