Just a thought.. what if life as we know it is different from one planet to another? what if they breath nitrogen or any other gas and oxygen for them is toxic.. just like early life.. oxygen for them is toxic.. they breath in carbon dioxide... what if aliens breath different gases? or what if they don't need water to survive or what if water for them is toxic? What if another alien lifeform saw our planet and they thought its inhabitable due to water? We should open our minds to possibilities..
Silicon is not as stable or connective as carbon, which can support much more links. If it ever did happen, silicone-based-life would be rather simple due to these limitations.
Nothing alien should be concieved as humanoid, the chances of something like that happening are next to impossible, unless they developed from some sort of stupid 'space monkey'.
europa only has the possibility of life due to that fact that it is belived to have liquid water on it. i dont know where u nuts get this silicon bullshit from?
yo xanaspeaking. bra, i don't know where you get your info dude, but europa is possibly over 4.5 billion years old. give that all primate life (including humans) evolved on earth in less than 265 million, europa is certainly old enough.
and bra, as far as whether europa is suitable for life now, or at any time in the past, no one knows. why? we haven't been there. we only know it's an intriguing possibility.
You've missed the OP's point completely. Time is only relative. The fact that you completely sidestepped the lack of adequate silicon levels factor shows that you have a very shallow understanding of environmental science. It's because of ignorant dorks that this planet is going through global warming in the first place.
What silicon people, you nitwit? Can't you read simple English?!? Read Xanaspeaking's statement properly before hollering like some deranged Scientologist. Life consists of certain matter (i.e. carbon, silicon, etc.), what's so difficult to understand about that??? LOL, my seven year old nephew could fathom more than you. Come back when you've done some real homework, kiddo.
That quasi religious neo age scooby doo lingo does nothing for me "dude". Science and evidence, please. Alien life on Europa indeed! MOOHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAAHAHAAHAHA!
Hey that's really clever. Ice that blocks radiation! Wow! I guess the North Pole would be OK then, apart from the sadder fact that your parents obviously didn't spend much money sending you to a school. As for life that can survive high level radiation, perhaps we could send some of the plankton with these brainless comments over there to Europa. They're obviously no use on this overcrowded planet.

"Silicon people".
Part of my brain just died.
BlockisticStudios 2 years ago
Theoretically it could happen, though I doubt they would be even remotely humanoid.
ncfwhitetigress 2 years ago 8
I dont thing anything silicon based would live long. Maybe a couple minutes.

How do you know?

Its has many of the same properties as carbon

Europa does not hold enough silicon for such a thing to exist... Europa hasn't been suitable for life long enough to harbor "people".

ah, what? my comment was relevant to (and only to) life on europa. period.
"sidestepped the lack of adequate silicon levels factor."
wow, are you having an argument with the silicon people in your head, because i haven't a clue what you're talking about.
you might try more fiber and less paxil, it could help with the voices and make you less loopy.

yo, angry dude, seriously that paxil is making you crazy.
just chill those "silicon levels factor" a bit, stop yelling out your window, have a seat, close your eyes and the monsters will go away.

Good idea, but have you thought of the high level of radiation emmited by Jupiter?
JacobeanTragedy 4 years ago
Remember it has a very thick protective ice shell covering a deep ocean. That should be an adequate radiation shield for any life.
ChrisJMoor 4 years ago
dude that doesent even matter. just because we are phiscally susceptible to radiation does not mean all life is.

Why are you being an asshole about this?
What, did i offend you or sumfin?
Are you going to cry?
Are you going to put a yellow sheet behind you, put some eye liner on, start crying, and saying "LEAVE EUROPA ALONE!!"
Is that what your going to do because you seem to be pmsin right now.
