  • Hi Mol i read your book and really liked it got me thinking . but i fear to many people have closed minds and we really are intent on our own destruction . but what a ride

  • Hey that's great. Very few people reading it give comment back, so I really appreciate you giving feedback. It is my first book but hopefully, I will do some more. I am pleased you enjoyed it and sadly, yes... we do, as a species seem intent on our own self-destruction. Maybe we were once sane and have become mad through evolution.

    my kind regards

    Mol

  • Yeah carry on writing more and lets hope there if there was a god and he left us alone and went to the shops and came back .

boy would we be in for a hard spanking for ruining his planet ha ha

  • wrong things?better purpose? napalm's fuckin' tremendous!

  • amazing insight and read ..a breath of fresh air

  • I understand how rapid and busy it is. Endvedulity is correct, I think, about the fast pace today for young people and what they watch. I am (sadly) 57, and many films I have to watch twice to catch everything :)

  • It is too "manic" but I see where molsmith is coming from. He's trying to reach a generation raised on cinema where no edit lasts for more than 5 seconds and the camera jiggles constantly. He's not trying to appeal to those who watch C-SPAN.

I'm not intending to insult younger viewers, but hey this is the way they make films nowadays and the young just eat it up.

  • That is one of the most annoying commercials I have ever seen.

  • Many thanks for taking the time to look and comment. How do you think I could make it less annoying? Your sincerity and honesty is appreciated. Many thanks.

  • The video is too manic. The music is too fast paced. There are too many things to look at. The sound effects are unpleasant. If you want an effective commercial, keep it simple.

  • Ouch. Not very nice. No, I am 57 years old but I think there are a zillion different ways to approach a subject. I can only say sorry that you did not like this. We all have different views and tastes, but hey you have the unique distinction of sending the first negative comment regarding my video. But thanks for taking the time to provide critique and feedback. I actually appreciate it, and I am not being facetious.

  • I apologize, I reread what I wrote and it was way too snarky. I guess I have this knee-jerk that whenever I see a 3D model of a woman, I assume the appeal is to teenagers. I do realize it's a fine line you have to walk if you want to get their attention, and at the same time not turn off those looking for something mature and serious.

And you were far more gracious in your reply than I would have been. :) Again, my apologies.

  • Many thanks. I really understand and, of course, you have worked out my intention. From what I can see (and no offence intended here to young folks on YouTube) on this site, most of the videos are from young teenagers having some fun. I wish I was their age again, but maybe I grew up in a better time really (the 50's and 60's) and I am not certain if I envy them today or if they should envy my time :)

    regards,

    mol

  • Since this "commercial" was CLEARLY made by a pre-teen, I'm wondering if the book was written by a pre-teen as well.

Or maybe it's my narrow-minded dogma barking...
