Duke is teetering on the brink of becoming simply another decent ACC team, not in UNC's class. They've done nothing in the tournament since 2004, and the one athletic player they have, is going pro. The recruits coming in are decent, but not to the caliber of UNC's class. They need to start getting the Demarcus Cousin's, and Derrick Favors type talent, if they are to return to their glory days. I hate Kansas, but they will probably win it all next year.

look at duke's 2010 class. they have more talent coming in that year. the problem is all the good players these days are one and done self absorbed players. and coach k and duke arent about that. duke goes for the grant hill type players. but andre dawkins and josh hairston look good from class of 2010. and duke tried to get john wall, but he went with the king of the one and done coaches. i think kentucky wins it next year even without meeks.

To be fair though a lot of it depends on who grabs Harrison Barnes. And UNC got the last home visit with him....

are you retarded? unc's basketball tradition is 10x that of duke's, there aren't many sensible people who would argue with that. and the rest of our athletics as a whole is way better. there are countless athletes in numerous sports who have gone on to the professional/olympic level. all duke's had is a couple of basketball players go pro who all had mediocre careers.

I strongly disagree. Tradition? The two teams complement each other when it comes to tradition. Without each other there is no "best rivalry in sports" titled to their organizations. Neither team is #1 when it comes to most NCAA Championships. UNC has one more ACC Championship than duke. Does one title make them that different? Ehh debatable. I could see if it was something like UNC has 1 title and duke had 0 it would be significant. But comparing 17-16?not really. Both teams have GREAT
