Well it's important for people of all age groups to feel like they have community. You should try to either get more people your age to go to the stuff that is already going on. Or you could start a get together for people your own age and just extend an invitation to the groups that are already there. Take care.

I wish I could attend this first one it sounds like something I would really benifit from, I dont get to spend much time in the community outside of the weekend trips to a drag show, but if the plan is to do it yearly I would deffiently like to contribute to further ones

We started this hoping that people in other states would do the same. You could always organize one near you. The thing about potlucks where your guests show off their own talents is that it builds stronger communities, and there's very little work on the part of the organizers.
