Yeah, it's pretty terrible, I know. This was made from the crappy parts that I could find at my local Radio Shack... it was an impulse thing. I'm embarrassed that this video gets any views at all! :P
wow, what a waste of perfboard, dude you could put this in less than a quarter of the board you used. and if you used enamel coated wire on the underside of the board to make connections you wouldnt see the mess of wires. (by the way ther are rows for a reason, you put the components where they need to contact on the chip)
hey i did the same thing! i had a very great passion for eletronics. i am 13 but i had an interes since 10 years old. i am hoping my uncle would send me my dvd diode to make a BURNING laser
I too am one of the few, one of the proud who, after weeks of reading, studying, thinking, tinkering, making 30 cent expenditures, and experimenting, have made an LED blink. Whoop-dee-doo.
umm it is a solderless breadboard... a PCB is a Printed Circuit Board ... PCB breadboard is also known as a prototyping board.... dont get confused :-)
nice, im working on it right now

1 too many resistors i think too many wires and too much spacetaken i made one of these on a breadvord with less wires and less crap

its a pre perf breadboard or perf board
or at least thats what every ee and designer call them
they also come in reusable solderless style.
i
pre perf breadboard is also what the package says if you want to argue with a bag.
nice "hello world" project!
look up arduino if you want to step it up a bit

what other local place can you get components other then radio shack....
it seems to be the only place =(

Frys Electronics has great deals on components. I usually use both RadioShack and Frys. :D

You idiots. They're normal-sized resistors, and resistance is not measured in watts, you fucktard.
Gamernotnerd 2 years ago
see thats where your wrong u can get resistors in watt as a measurement. its not the same as ohm but they are measured in watts.
ipodbomb 2 years ago
That's the current rating.
Gamernotnerd 2 years ago
@Gamernotnerd there not messured as small medium and large leds either dumb ass. there messured in OHMs not normal sized

Hello nice to see other young people interested in electronics! I am 18, but have been interested since i was about 6 or 7 haha.
Check out bowood-electronics . com, they have good prices!
To the creator of this vid, nice circuit there!

its not a solderless breadboard it is a PCB

it is NOT a breadboard
davidbball13 4 years ago
I'm with dave on this one, It's not a breadboard. In order to get anything connected and working, you would have to solder it. :P

its an RS pref board
davidbball13 3 years ago
I know that, I'm just correcting the guy who was calling it a breadboard.
I tinker with electronics myself.
